16 Topics FoundI need help identifying a pill. It is very light yellow and round, with no scoring. The only identifier is (I think) A I, on the same side. It is clearly a capital A. Next to the A is either I, or 1. It looks like a capital I, just a straight line. Thanks in advance ## Hi Roland, I "may have" located to your pill to be Zolpidem tartrate extended release (12.5 mg). I only say "may have" because my source does not show a photo of the pill; just a description that matches "A1" and that the pill is round and yellow. need help identifying small round yellowish pill imprinted with A1 and nothing else....Please help ## I believe it is the generic for Ambien CR 12.5 mg. It is a sleeping pill (sedative/hypnotic). It is used to treat insomnia. It is not addictive, but if you take this medication for a long period of time your body will depend on it for sleep. I hope that helps. ## The pill that I've found which meets this description, off-white and round contains 1mg of Guanfacine, the active ingredient in Tenex, it has several medical uses, including treating high blood pressure. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea. Round, yellow, with a single embeded marking of A1 or AI approximately 7mm or 5/16ths of an inch accross. Label says NDC:00228-3482-11 Mfg: ACTAV FB:LK - CRC- DS:30. I am feeling well but I am only getting about firv (5) hours sleep. I have checked Google Images for Zolpidem, Zolpidem ER, Ambien and Ambien CR and none of the images correspond to what I am taking. ## Those are 12.5mg extended release Zolpidem tablets. Learn more Zolpidem details here. However, it could just be that it doesn't work well for you and you may need to try a different medication. Are there any others that you've tried yet? ## Consulted doctor and says try to go back to "blue pill." Also, no Trader Joe's 72% Dark Chocolate before trying to go to sleep. Warm milk and Oreo is ok though.... ## ...
