Amlodipine 5 mg or Asomax 2.5 mg/5 mg tablets have been prescribed to control hypertension my wife has. Both these tablets cause swelling of ankles and feet. Do they also cause dizziness? Is there any other alternative drug which could be helpful like these two drugs but do not have any side effects? ## Hello, Pushpa! Sorry about the problems that your wife is having. However, all medications carry the risk of causing side effects. What your wife needs to do is talk to her doctor to see what other medication she can try. By discussing it with her doctor, they can help her find an appropriate medication to help lower her blood pressure, while causing the least amount of problematic side effects possible. Has she contacted her doctor, yet? ## I have been a diabetic and blood pressure pati...

off of all meds needed following left shoulder replacement except the one mentioned above and am wondering if the read itchy red rash on left arm and redness on left side and red splotchiness on back could be caused by that. ## Hello, Nev! How are you doing? Yes, that's possible if you're allergic to it or allergic to one of the inactive ingredients in it. Have you consulted your doctor? That's the only way you're going to be able to find out for sure. How long were you taking it when this happened?

I forget the things in five seconds. My concentration has gone week. i have became lasy ## Hello, Kumar! How are you? Most medications can cause that as side effects, to one degree or another, especially with long-term use, according to the U.S. FDA. If the problems are that severe, it might be time to speak to your doctor about trying a different medication. Is this the only medication that you take regularly?

Which drug store chains carry 325 mg Ascriptin? ## I'm sorry, Meteor, but unfortunately there is no central listing of what drug stores carry any given product or medication. The best suggestion I can make is that you ask the pharmacist at whichever one you usually use if they can order it in for you. Many of them are quite happy to do so for their regular customers. Ascriptin is an Aspirin that's buffered with Maalox to prevent the stomach damage that it can cause. Side effects may include dizziness, headache and increased risk of bleeding. Have you had problems with ulcers or excess stomach acid?

Just wondering what these pills look like and is this the same as by Mallencourt? Nancy ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? Are you referring to the generic for Percocet that contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone? If so, the ones manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth are round, white and have the marking A349 on one side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And yes, it's the same medication, just manufactured by a different company.

how come I can't find info: on this med:? that is it's purpose? how dose it help me? ## Not sure what search you used, but I just googled it and I found info on it. It is Aspirin Enteric Coated; It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. Correct me if I'm wrong but It doesn't seem any different than a normal Aspirin tab with a higher dose of 325 mg rather than the more common 81 mg. Three days into taking amox-clav for a sinus infection my ears started itching and being hot. The next day they were itchy again. I also had some episodes of lightheadedness. Felt like I could pass out. Are these side effects of the medicine? ## Dizziness/feeling lightheaded can be a normal side effect, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. The reports also list skin itching and irritation as being normal. Has anything changed? How much longer will you be taking it? ## I have four more days. The itching on my ears has stopped. Lightheadedness is no longer happening. I've never had symptoms like this before with antibiotics.

Got fake gg 258 in Indiana. Anyone know what is in these? Very disappointed, now my anxiety is high. ## Is there any way you can post a picture of them because I think I've gotten some of these fake ones as well. They are very powdery and hard to read what's on them but it says GG 258 but like I said they are very powdery and are very soft. Do you think these are real or fake? So far I don't feel anything from them and that's been about 30 minutes ago. Any info on these fakes ones would greatly help me out! ## Hey JJB they look real as hell. I am having a reaction to the medication ardosons and trying to get more details about this drug. ## Hi stephanie, Sorry to hear about your reaction to that medication. Are you feeling any better now? Based on my research, the ingredients found in Ardosons are: Indomethacin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory; Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication; and Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant. Since each medication can effect you differently, I think you really have to look at each drug's individual profile to get a better idea of what side effects are really associated with the medication as a whole. It may also be a good idea to contact your doctor about any safer alternatives to Ardosons. You can learn more about these drugs on the pages for: Indomethacin Det...

What is the next step up from hydrocodone 10-325.? I take 3 a day and it seems to not be working as we'll anymore. I've taken it for about 2 years now ## Hello, Sammie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. The next step up would most likely be Percocet in the 10/325 dosage, since the Oxycodone is stronger than Hydrocodone. Only your doctor can really decide where you should go from here, I'm just letting you know of other options. You could also go for something that doesn't contain Acetaminophen, such as Oxycodone by itself, or Dilaudid. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I guess that's it. I always have a hard time when I let my doc know the current medication.. Hydrocodone 10-325 is not working like it did at one time. ...

I've been taking Watson 5-325 hydrocodone from Walgreens for years for back pain. I am disabled, have scoliosis and two bad car accidents caused the need. 3 months ago Walgreens changed to this new Actavis brand. It isn't working! Until I read this, I thought I would have to increase my dosage. Also for the past 3 months I've had sore throat and pain in sinuses and ears. I thought I had overdone my Flonase and have gone through 2 rounds of antibiotics without relief. When I read about the mother's ears ringing and nausea, I put this together. Thank you so much! I scheduled another appointment today for next week about this. Hopefully a new scrip will solve both issues. I went to CVS today and found out they have qualitest brand hydrocodone. ## @Brat Cat, You're defin...

On 4/12/17, I received my monthly script of Oxycodone from Walgreens, from Mfg. Actavis as Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325MG TB. The medication did not dull my pain as usual, but continued to use and began to feel very ill, vomiting and having diarrhea, ending up in the hospital for four days, during which I lost all my strength and needed Physical Therapy for three months and I am still having to use a walker. There was never a diagnosis of the cause of my hospitalization, but now I know that after I had not used the medication for a period of three months and now needed pain relief again, that after ll days of use, I was experiencing the same thing that had put me in the hospital in the first place, the Actavis Oxycodone! There is a problem with Actavis and they should be investigated....

They say IG and 250 - are they pain meds and if not, what are they really used for? ## Hello, Wilddad! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Escitalopram, which is actually an antidepressant, although some of these types of medications do help with some forms of nerve pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am 41 years old. My doctor prescribed me adco-bisocor 10 after I have given birth stillborn prematurely caused by high blood pressure, and the clinic also prescribed me redig 25 and pharmapress 10. Then i asked the doctor about these two prescriptions from the clinic and he told me to use it as well, but I feel side effects of dizziness, painful feet, weaknesses in my knees and arms, and irregular heart beating. Is it right to continue with all the doses at one time or can I reduce adco-bisocor to 5mg? Also, can I use adco-bisocor during my pregnancy period?
