A 30 Orange

I got prescribed Adderall 30 mg. The pills are light orange with AD one one side and 3|0 on the back. They are thick circle pills but there are two dark orange pills and they are thin. What is this? ## I question the legitimacy of these pills because this is an imprint belonging to a discontinued version of Adderall from Shire (NDC 54092-0377) [1]. ## Where did you get these? Texas? I had a similar experience recently and would like to compare notes. ## I recently traveled to Mexico and was prescribed and provided these same AD 30 pills. 60 tablet bottle with Shire label. ## I wonder if they're still being manufactured for other countries then.

I found an orange/peach round pill in my bf medicine cabinet. When I questioned his need for the medicine he got very defensive and irate. I'm terrified of what the possibilities could be. In addition, I found other meds I researched and were disturbed to learn the common reasons for treatment.

I had no idea there could be a difference between the different colors of generic adderall. This explains why I find the pink ones less effective than the orange. I have taken crestor for 15 years but just got a different size and color pill. Smaller than the usual deep red, with H on one side and 30 on the other - Is this crestor? ## Hello Deb, I honestly wasn't able to find a pill that matches your description but based off of what the crestor website shows they do not make a pill that matches your description. I believe that it may still be a rosuvastatin pill but since it's a 30mg and crestor only makes 5/10/20/40mg it may be a generic instead. I am a little worried that I wasn't able to find it. Does your medication label have a manufacturer listed or a labeler listed? If so I might be able to get a bit more information on the pill if you would like.

How long do the therapeutic effects of this medication last? Why mix amphetamine & dextroamphetamine as ingredients? ## According to Standford Medicine, Adderall's duration of action lasts for around 6 hours. They go on to state that the extended release version lasts for 10-12 hours. Source: stanford.edu/medications/adderall.html Additionally, Adderall's peak effects reportedly take place within 1-3 hours - but I'd imagine this figure would vary for each individual. As to your second question, I don't know why they would mix the two different types of amphetamine salts. I can only speculate that each one picks up where the other falls short in some pharmacological aspects. Hope this helps!

My usual pharmacy was out of the orange pills, forcing me to resort to the pink ones, a decision I regret and will never repeat. They're less expensive, which might explain why they opt for them. I've been on a routine of 30 mg twice a day for years and have never required an increase. Though there is another pharmacy within a 25-mile radius, I never felt the need to go there until now, realizing the pink generics are ineffective for my condition! I lack energy, struggle to focus, and am frustrated that I forgot how ineffectual these pink pills are for me. Despite taking three pills today, there was no improvement. I'm not seeking a high. I genuinely have ADD, and the upcoming month looks bleak until I can refill my prescription for the orange pills. Can anyone else relate? ...
