I am allergic to sulfa drugs and currently have bronchitis. One of the things prescribed to me is ventolin hfa it says it has albuterol sulfate should I be concerned? ( I did tell the Dr that I was allergic to sulfa drugs.) Two more questions, I used to get really itchy tiny bumps on my back. The doctor never could figure out why, but I started looking at the ingredients of shampoos and saw that most of them had sodium lauryl sulfate. This was before I was ever diagnosed with an allergy to sulfa drugs. Is there a connection with sulfa drugs and sodium lauryl sulfate? I can't find the paper for this medication and I'm not sure what it is used for. ## I have this medicine in my medicine cabnet and not sure what it is used for. ## Sulfamethoxazole is an antibiotic for infections. ## does anybody know if this medicine interacts with robitussin cf, ventolin hfa, or amoxicillin? its important that i find out because of my 3 month old, breat fed son. ## Is sulfamethoxazole-tmp susp used to treat high potassium? ## can this antibiotic be used for colds? Does it only work on UTI'S?

I take several medications and see to be having issues on occasion and I am wondering if I should be taking all these meds at specific times other that what the label says to get the best benefits and possibly have less yucky issues. My body isn't absorbing all my medications or all of my food. Clearly what goes in the mouth should not come out the other end in the same form as it went in. Hello you see I go to a clinic and get my meds from a few different places not just one pharmacy and am not sure what are all compatible.you see I am leery. I have very severe pain from acute gallbladder problem and can't get surgery at this time because I have COPD exacerbation and also waiting for surgery on my mouth for several teeth broken at gum line and under the gum line with a open fistula. RE: Ventolin inhaler. If I take a hair folicle test will the result be positive on Methampetamine? ## Although many nasal sprays and inhalers can test false positive for Amphetamines (including meth), I actually haven't found anything specific to this drug. If you ever do test positive though I would try and dispute it as best you can; because on the cheaper less reliable drug tests, it seems as though anything is likely to show up no matter what you took. One site I typically go to when checking for false positives is askdocweb; however they don't seem to have information on the drug you mentioned. I have tested positive for Amph could one of this done that. ## Will Atrovent HFA 17 meg/inh or Ventolin HFA (albuterol sulfate) make me test positive for methamphetamine on a urine drug test? ## I tested positive for amphetamines. I am taking cipro senna and ventolin inhaler. Could the inhalercause this? ## I, too, am testing positive for methamphetamine while using atrovent hfa. Proventil and all my other meds never caused this; only the addition of atrovent. I have not and do not do or use cocaine but recently had bloodwork done that shows signs of me being diabetic.. very high glucose levels and I take prozac and hydrocodone 10/650. I also have asthma and use ventolin hfa. Can any of these affect the test? Had a urine test today and the doctor said it came back positive for Oxycontin. I've never taken that drug nor even know what it does. He said I failed the test. How can this be?
