I have a round yellow pill with RX 537 on it. Is this Prinzide? ## This tablet contains Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg + Lisinopril 20mg (NDC 63304-0537). These two drugs are respectively a combination of a diuretic and an ACE inhibitor, to control hypertension. Is there a blood pressure medicine alternative to Benicar. I would like to find a cheaper alternative. ## lisinopril/HCTZ (Prinzide®, Zestoretic®). Just found it today on the web. ## can you buy generic benicar ## Unfortunately there will not be a generic available until 2016 when the patent for this drug expires. ## I just bought generic benicar. came from India... you can also get it from Austraila. and Canada. benicar is expencive... its worth it if it helps..I just hope it has all the active ingrediants, not a phony placebo. ## To "Bill" regarding your posting on 10/10 and finding a generic Benicar overseas...have you had time to try this version out and is so, do you feel it is a viable substitute for the American manufactured version? I enjoy a drink nightly. Will this prevent the pill from doing its job with my blood pressure? (mixed drinks or amaretto). ## Generally, you are warned not to take most medications with alcohol due to the possibility of it aggravating the side effects, such as the nausea and dizziness, because that can result in one drink actually affecting you like you had 2 and so on. With this combination, however, there are some additional concerns, if you are limiting yourself to just one or two drinks, it can actually cause some lowering of your blood pressure, as well, so you have to be careful to watch for signs of that, such as feeling severely dizzy, especially when moving or standing up. 77 ## Are you saying it has the marking 77 on it? If so, I can't find any listings for it in any of our U.S. prescription medication resources. If there are no markings on it, it is going to be difficult to positively identify. Was it found in the U.S.? Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I'm not sure but you could be reading the pill "upsidedown" or "sideways",The "LL" on the side can look like "77" or "F" if turned the wrong way. If the pill is a small blue hexagon (6 sided) and reads "LL" on one side and "B01" on the other side, it is probably a blood pressure pill called Lisinopril, a generic for Prinzide I think. ## Yes I looked again and it is LL not 77

Does anyone have a child on Prinzide for treatment of severe tourettes. If so, what is your opinion of this medication and it's effectiveness?
