does akyma prenatal plus have gelatin, if so what is the source? is there any multi vitamin that does not contain any animal products? thanks ## @latif, Based on my research, Akyma (also known as Amneal) Pharmaceuticals discontinued their prenatal plus tablets some time ago. However I did come across a list of inactive ingredients and apparently it does contain gelatin sourced from porcine, which is pork. Brown oblong pill; no scoring; no imprints: prenatal vitamins? ## I'm trying to compare the prenatal vitamins my doctor prescribed for my 1st and current pregnancy. I was taking Natelle Plus. It is a pink oblong pill that has a P and 112 printed on it. Along with it in the same little foil packet is pinkish/redish liquid gel capsule. Currently I'm taking the Prenatal Plus tablets. On that is printed G12. It seems it has too much A and some herbs that concerns me. How do you think these compare? Also at the time I took the Natelle Plus there was not a generic and it was very expensive. What compares to the Natelle Plus because I really liked them? Thank you so much for your help.

These are multivitamin/mineral tablets. They are commonly given to women who are trying to get pregnant or who are pregnant to make sure they have the proper nutrition to support a developing fetus. Has your doctor suggested you take it?
