What exactly is this pill for? ## This is a generic for Darvocet, the APAP is simply medical speak for 650mgs of Acetaminophen and the other ingredient is 100mgs of Propoxyphene. THIS IS A MILD NARCOTIC pain reliever, so that is my guess as to why it made you so drowsy, that is a very normal side effect. Found a large, oblong, hot pink pill, the number 890 is on one side and 93 is one the other. What is this, please? ## what is this drug, and what is the use? ## wasthb ## I found a large oval white pill with the number 537 on one side and 93 on the other. What is it ## Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? The tablet with the 93 890 marking contained 100mgs of Propoxyphene and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, it was a generic for Darvocet. You can see here in these details, that it was discontinued in 2010 due to the risk of overdose it caused, and the fact that it could cause cardiac dangers, so the risks were found to outweigh any possible benefits it might provide. It was very mild in its pain relieving effects, anyway, so it didn't help a lot of people. Are there any other questions?
