Strange, normally when I take a 25 Aderrall XR I feel the effects and can study for hours on end...I was recently prescribed Vyvanse, but I still had some Aderrall left, so i took one 25 mg XR at about noon...didnt feel much, so i broke open another 25 XR and ate half...still nothing..so i ate the other half (at about 3 PM)...about an hour later I still felt very below average effects. So I took a 40 mg Vyvanse. Felt more focused, but nothing special. So I broke open another 40 MG and poured half (20 mg) into a glass of water. Drank that, and about an hour later still nothing, so I took the other half....and I still don't feel any effects! Not even average effects....very strange. I have a fairly bad cold (but not taking any meds for it except aspirin for headaches)...not sure if th...

Bought 80's online dimple packs of 10 they say they are 80mmg Oxycodone hydrochloride; distributed by Rhodes, manufactured by Purdue. IT CLEARLY SAYS [DO NOT USE UNLESS TABLETS CARRY THIS IDENTIFICATION: "R" & "P" ON SCORED SIDE AND 30 ON THE OTHER] now these are plain round white pills that say nothing and have no scoring, I took one and oh yea baby they work but not like eating two or three 15 mg Oxycodone instants there is no speedy part your just done jammed up and jelly tight. oh and lastly there is no "wow i just took some oxy any now i fell great "so what are we doing today?" pain is gone and i could actually get a few things done I think its a sticker that has been copied in a print shop then cut to measure ten or 70 thousand times and then ad...

If this a real 80? ## need pain meds for herniated disk ## Hi Frnk, The closest match I've been able to locate is Oxycontin (80 mg). It is a round green pill with the imprint '80' on one side and 'OP' on the other. Oxycodone is the active ingredient in Oxycontin; Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid synthesized from poppy-derived thebaine. It is a narcotic analgesic generally indicated for relief of moderate to severe pain. It is manufactured by Purdue Pharma and has a National Drug Code of 59011-0480. How is the medication released. As simple was 6.67 per hour for 12 hours? ## Hi joe, According to a .gov article I found on the absorption of Oxycontin, the tablet itself is considered to be 'biphasic', which means that it is being dispensed in two different phases. The initial release is said to be approx. 40% of the active ingredient; which provides an onset of pain relieving effects within one hour for most patients. At this point, it is followed by a second more controlled release that carries out the remaining duration of effects. Page 1 in the link below offers more specific details on the pharmacokinetics of it: medsafe.govt.nz/profs/datasheet/o/OxyContintab.pdf I hope this helps!

I have been on oxycotin 80 mg tid approx.. 14 yrs. I doesn't work as well it does not take care of my pain like it use to. The dr. even gave me about a yr ago oxycodone 15 mg aid. It still is not working .If I was put on dialaudid pills what would be the equivalentand wouldn't it help my pain? I have sever degenerative osteoarthritis all over with a total knee thus far. ## Hello, Jr! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. An equivalent dose of Dilaudid to the Oxycontin you take would be 90mgs a day and it's usually not used in such high doses. You may do better with the Fentanyl patch, it's a very potent narcotic and each patch lasts or 2 to 3 days. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, suc...

wiped the blue off an 80 and swallowed will it take the pain away annd will I het a buzz? ## Wiping off the blue coating has no effect on the time released mechanism, because it is incorporated throughout the tablets and is not controlled by the coating. Therefore, no, though it may still help with your pain. Oxycontin contains the active ingredient Oxycodone, which is a potent narcotic pain reliever. How long does 800 mg ibprophen stay in you took some at 3pm it's 11pm want to go out and drink ## Hello, Simon! How are you? It actually isn't a good idea to drink within a few days of taking any NSAID. They both tend to be very harsh on the stomach and liver, so drinking while taking one could result in stomach bleeding, stomach ulceration, liver damage or failure. However, if your doctor approves of you drinking, then you should remember to only do so in moderation and make sure that you aren't driving, since it may cause worsening of the side effects, you may feel more nauseous, drowsy and dizzy than usual. I have been taking Inderal LA 80 for about 25 years and it has really controlled my tachycardia and palpitations. I just don't want to take the chance that it will not to the exact same as the Inderal. Has anyone switched and seen a difference?
