Hello, I have been subscribed metformin 93 7267. Can I break this pill in half? I have trouble swallowing pills. They are in my stool and I don't think they are being absorbed, cut them in half, now appear as almost round. Can I crush , should I stop taking them and take something else. I have generally diarehha and they float to the top, have taken them out to exam. they expand and take on the color of the stool, when I cut them in half they are soft and white inside the color. Are not visable when my stool is normal but it usually is not. ## No, that is how they are supposed to work. Not all pill components are always supposed to be broken down and absorbed by your body, it is normal for some elements, even if it looks like the entire pill, to be expelled in your waste.
