I have RSD in both legs due to several back surgeries. I was diagnosed in 1993 and have lived in pain for many years. My question is, I was doing pretty good with hydrocodone, Tylenol (7.5/3.25) ev 4 hrs. Even missing a dose every now and then, my RSD was mostly under control. I was changed to pill form (10/3.25) ev 6 hrs and ever since then (3 days ago), I have been in severe pain, in my legs and now under my feet. What made the difference? My pharmacist will not get the liquid form for me due to the cost to them. I may have to go out of town to get it. We live in a small town. ## Your pain might be do to the change in dosage timing, since you went from 4 hours to 6 hours, but it is hard to say. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, c...

I have 7.5-325/15ML - How many ML would it take to equal one pill of hydrocodone? ## Hello, Katie! How are you? From what you've listed the dosage is 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen per 15mls, so that would be the same as taking the same dosed tablet. However, you should not exceed the given dosage instructions. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Sooooo is that one tablet for every 15mls? ## 15 ml is one 7.5 pill. A 5 oz bottle is almost equal to 9.5 pills.

I have bottle of liquid hydrocodon-Acetamin 7.5-325/15 & the QTY:150 how many ML EQUALS TO ONE TABLET ## Hello, Mob! How are you? 15, that's what the 7.5-325/15 means on the label, that's the dosage you get in 15mls, 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## 5 mls is 1 teaspoon. 1 teaspoon of this med is 7.5 mg Hydrocodone/325 Acetaminophen. ## if 5 mls is 1 teaspoon, than the 15 would refer to 3 teaspoons equaling the actual dosage of 7.5-325. Am I right or am I right? ## I think Im right, 5mls, 1 teaspoon equals 7.5 mg Hydrocodone/325 Acetaminophen. 3 teas...

how many pills is this eqiulent to ## Hi John, The milliliters (ML) refers to the size of the container, or dosage, but doesn't provide enough information to answer your question. Are you reffering to Hydrocodone APAP 7.5/500 liquid? If so, I can tell you that 1 tablespoonful of Hydrocodone APAP 7.5/500 liquid would be the equivalent of one Hydrocodone APAP 7.5/500 tablet. The intention is to give 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen in each dose. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone I hope this helps! ## That is all wrong it will tell what the Dr is is PER ML meaning 7.5/500 per 15 ML means in ONE OUNCE is 2 7.5 tablets.... Also meaning A FULL 16 OZ BOTTLE IS ONLY 32 PILLS some liquids are per 5 ml meaning that's 6 pills pe...

I'm supposed to take 15 ml every 6 hours or as needed of 7.5/325 hydrocodone acetaminophen...how many mg is that ? aka how many tablespoons? I've been in severe mouth pain and I think I've taken too much today. qty is 420. I started off with 420 now I'm at about 370-380. ## Hello, sdalton! How are you? 15mls would be 3 teaspoons, each teaspoon contains 5mls, but make sure to use a proper measuring spoon, not a regular household teaspoon, because they are not accurate. A tablespoon is approximately 14.786mls, so you could also just take one of them, if you're going to take the full dose. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth an...

I'm sorry, but I can't answer your question without more information. How much is in the bottle? Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! Is the yellow liquid solution of Hydrocodone-Apap a generic form of Vicodin? ## I was prescribed this stuff for pain relief after a tonsilectomy...bottle reads: 400 HYDROCODONE/ SOL APAP Take 2-4 teaspoonfuls every four hours as needed. My question is, is there a way to tell how many milligrams each of hydrocodone/acetominophen per teaspoon? I am concerned about the APAP as we all know it is toxic to the liver in high doses and would like to know how much is in each dose I take so I can monitor it. I am assuming the 400 on the bottle corresponds to that, but I don't know how it applies (ex. per teaspoon, or per reccomended dose of 2-4 an hour). Seems to me its a lot harder to find info on ratio of hydro. to APAP in liquid form, wheras it is almost common knowlege for the tablet-form...

I have 150 ML of Hydrocodone/APAP ELX that expired in 12/06. It has not been opened since then and has been kept at a constant room temp. Is it still safe to use for my bursitis and other muscle pains....??? ## Hello, Dlanor! How are you? No, it is long expired after that many years. Liquids degrade faster than other forms of medications and slowly lost potency. Not only will it no longer be very effective, but there's also a chance that it has turned and could make you very ill, if you take it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you need pain relief, it would be best to see your doctor for a new prescription. Is there anything else I can help with...

Was given RX Hydrocod/acetaminophen 7.5-325/15ML every 4-6hrs. Can you also use liquid tylenol 500 mg over the counter together, alternating? ## You should not combine OTC tylenol with any prescription meds that also contain tylenol. You may want to call or see your Dr or dentist if the rx you were given isn't helping the pain. ## I Ran out of my hydrocodone/ acetaminophen 10-325 T. I have a bottle of 300 ml of liquid hydrocodone/apap 7.5/325mg that says to take 15ml every 4 to 6 hrs on the bottle. I was wanting to know how many pills would be equal to 300 ml of liquid? ## Hello, Slim! How are you? Well, going by what you've posted, each 15ml contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so that means 300mls would be equivalent to about 20 tablets. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. 1.5mg/5ml of liquid hydrocodone, how many ml of this to make up one 5/500 Vicodin? And does the liquid stuff really expire? ## Hello, Joe! How are you? Yes, it does really expire. Liquids degrade pretty fast, so they are only viable and effective for a short period of time. As to the dosage, you didn't provide details on the amount of Acetaminophen, so I can't provide you with an accurate answer. Can you please post back with his additional detail? Thanks!

My bottle dates back two years old. Is it still OK to take? Wonder if it will harm me at this age? I'm sick with a cough and can't get out. ## I’m waiting to know what the difference in strength is between a hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pill and a 10/325mg hydrocodone-acetaminophen pill, and how many of the hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pills would I need to take to equal one of my 10/325 hydrocodone-acetaminophen pills? Can I also take my tramadol 50mg pills with the hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pills? ## Mike, medications tend to lose efficacy once past their expiration date, so they may not work as well as they did, when they were new. Additionally, liquid medications can turn rancid, so they could actually make you ill. Thus, it would be best not to take it, bu...

It's hard to swallow liquids as it seems my esophagus is swollen. What could be causing it? Any of my medications? ## Does it just seem like it's swollen, or has it been confirmed by a medical professional? Many medications can cause it, according to FDA reports, but it is hard to say just from this vague post. Have you ever been diagnosed with acid reflux? That is also a possible cause. If it comes down to a medication, I think Methocarbamol would be the primary suspect, since it is a muscle relaxant and muscles help us swallow... however, there is also the possibility of an allergy.

Nor can I go through and list all the cough syrups on the market, their ingredients and dosages, there are far too many. This one doesn't contain Codeine, anyway, the narcotic in it is actually Hydrocodone, which is stronger than Codeine. Learn more Hydrocodone details here. How many Norco 10/325 mg would give you 1100 ng/mL? ## From what I could gather, clinical trials note that: "Following a 10 mg oral dose of hydrocodone administered to five adult male subjects, the mean peak concentration was 23.6 ± 5.2 ng/mL. Maximum serum levels were achieved at 1.3 ± 0.3 hours and the half-life was determined to be 3.8 ± 0.3 hours." Unless I'm reading this wrong (which I may be, as I am trying to understand this conversion as well), 1100 ng/mL seems like a very high dose for toxicity. how many mg are in a teaspoon of hydron psc syrup ## Each serving of Hydron PSC Liquid oral solution is said to contain the following dosages: Chlorpheniramine 0.4 MG/ML + Hydrocodone 1 MG/ML + Pseudoephedrine 6 MG/ML To my understanding, that is milligrams per milliliter; and one teaspoon is 5 ml, so if I'm seeing this correctly, you would be getting 5 servings if you took a teaspoon of it. Does that make sense? I hope this info helps!
