what is the difference between Norco 10 325mg Vs Loratab 500mg.? ## They both are different name brands for a combination medication that contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, but the dosages can be different. You didn't mention the dose of Hydrocodone in the Lortab, but the 325 and 500 would refer to the milligrams of Acetaminophen that are in them, it helps the narcotic to work better. Vicodin - 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin ES - 7.5 mg. hydrocodone and 750 mg acetaminophen. ## Neither Norco, nor Vicodin have Aspirin in them. WHITE OBLONG PILL WITH 3592 ON ONE SIDE OR A WHITE OBLONG PILL WITH M367 ON ONE SIDE....WHICH ONE IS STRONGER? ## The tablet marked M367 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The one with the 3592 V marking contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus the M 367 contains more of the narcotic, but the other contains more Acetaminophen, which makes it kind of hard to say which one is stronger. Some people may do better with the higher dose of the narcotic, because the Acetaminophen doesn't have as much effect on them, but it can potentiate the effects of the narcotic, so others might do better with the lower dose of Hydrocodone and more Acetaminophen. I have Hifenac-P100mg with Paracetamol-325mg and Compifalm 500mg. I am having pain in the heels and slight swelling .I have taken compiflam twice a dayfor three days. But the pain is still there. Shall I take Hifenac tablets for better effect? ## You should take whatever medication your doctor has instructed you to take. They both carry the risk of causing the same side effects, which the NIH lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Why are they discontinuing the white Watson Hydrocodone Watson now ? ## Hi, Harvey! Who told you it was being discontinued? Is it one that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen or more? If so, that may be the reason. The FDA has requested that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination medications to no more than 325mgs per dose, due to the danger of liver damage that can occur with long term use and the liver failure that can occur with overdosage. when taking Hydrocodone which is stronger? 5-500 or 10-325? ## These tablets contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, which are the active ingredients in Vicodin. The first number that you listed is the amount of the narcotic, the Hydrocodone and the second is the Acetaminophen. So, one of the contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen and the other 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and 325mgs of the Acetaminophen. Thus, in reference to the narcotic, for better pain relief, the one with 10mgs would be stronger, however, if you need more of the Acetaminophen, then the 5/500 would be stronger. Have you had problems with the Hydrocodone? Goldline was the manufacturer. ## The current formulas of Percogesic contain Acetaminophen and Diphenhyramine, it is used to relieve pain, fever and allergies. It is still available for sale online, but to find a generic, you would need to find something that contains those 2 ingredients or buy separate products that contain them, such as Tylenol and Benadryl, or their generic/store brands.
