Heard rumors that this pill does not work as well as other brands. ## Hello, John! How are you? The tablet with the 176 marking is manufactured by Caraco Pharmaceuticals and by their image and description, it should be white, oblong, scored on one side with the 176 pressed into the opposite side and 13.00mm in size. my doctor gave me a prescription for norcos 10's. when I went to the pharmacy they gave me a yellow oblong pill with 170 on one side and nothing on the other. They told me it was norco 10. did they make a mistake ## If it has 170 on it, is oblong & yellow it is Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. It does not have Hydrocodone 10 mg in it. Instead it has Hydrocodone 7.5 mg. ## The identification provided is correct. NDC: 57664-0170 The FDA wants that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything I can help with?

What is the difference between these pills imprinted with 176 and m367? I've taken both pills and m367 doesn't seem to be as strong. ## @Arita, From what I could gather, both pills in question reportedly contain a 10/325 mg dose of Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen. The M367 is made by Mallinckrodt and carries a National Drug Code of 00406-0367. NOTE: You can also view an image of this pill by clicking on the NDC link above The other pill in question (imprinted with 176) is reportedly made by Sun Pharmaceutical and has a National Drug Code of 57664-0176. I wonder if perhaps certain binders/fillers are being implemented that inhibit bioavailability in one way or another. Never the less, you can always ask your doctor to specify a particular manufacturer's brand or generic on your scr...

Hi, My mother is 57. She had been diagnosed for breast cancer in Nov 2009. Right breast removed. Now, very recently 40 days ago, she developed brain metastases. She underwent WBRT and is being prescribed Decdac and Eptoin. Doctor suggested to take Eptoin 100 , all 3 tables together at night. With this she stays stable for close to 18 hours and then again starts getting angry and irritated and forgets many things. Since the effect is for 18 hours, it becomes difficult to give her medicines after exactly 17-18 hours. My question is if I can give her 2 tables twice daily after 12 hours. Would this be effective. Pls suggest ## Eptoin contains Phenytoin, an anticonvulsant that is also used as a mood stabilizer. You shouldn't make changes without checking with her doctor. But yes, it can ...
