I have pills that are 14 months old,are they safe to take? Can not get to a doctor for a new prescription. ## Being that the pill is over a year old, I'm assuming it is passed its expiration date. When it comes to drugs and other medication I believe it is best to not take any chances with the past expiration date. They may still be ok to take if they haven't been exposed to a high amount of heat or various other conditions outside of the bottle, however I am not a pharmacist or MD, so I cannot guarantee if it is safe for you to consume. There is still a high likelihood that it lost some of its potency and may be ineffective to the point where it could harm your body. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find an identification for this, yet. They seem to be old tablets that are no longer manufactured, as from other posts I've found they were said to be found in the homes of elderly deceased relatives. Thus finding an ID may be a bit difficult. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize these tablets? ## I found a few of these mixed in with some 10mg Dicyclomine Capsules after my mom died.
