I found some pills in my kid's room that are white oblong tablets with 5500 on one side & nothing on the other. What is this pill? ## The marking is actually "S500" instead of "5500" (first letter S instead of number 5). As others have stated, it contains Acetaminophen 500 mg (NDC 68210-0013 among others). Here is an example of what a box may look like, but it could be packaged under multiple brands. If so, the tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. White and oval or oblong shaped imprint GG 550 ## Just to be clear, is this a white capsule with a gray/black and green line on it? If so then the medication which you are describing is Fluoxetine 20 mg, which is an antidepressant. You will commonly find this over the counter in Aleve in a lower dosage. The most common side effects are gastro-intestinal problems.

It is a small round white pill with 93 on one side and 5337 on the other. ## I was unable to locate a match for the imprint "93 5337", but I did however find a match for "93 537". Is there any chance that you may have misread the marking? (93 537 also fits your physical description of the pill, other than the fact that it is oval shaped as opposed to a circle/round). Does this still sound like a possible match? If so, it is identified as being Naproxen sodium (550mg). Who manufactures this brand of fluoroxetine? Where is it made? Is it effective? ## This capsule contains 20mgs of Fluoxetine and it is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals.
