I have lower back sciatic pain which my Dr prescribes 50mg of tramadol(2x daily)which I think is a joke..It won,t even help a hang nail, let alone a tooth ache..What am I doing wrong, what kind of Dr should I be seeking??? ## Have you seen any other doctors? Have you had any tests performed to see what is causing the pain? If you are just seeing your regular, primary care physician for it, that is probably the problem right there. They are not trained to treat those types of specific conditions or to do pain management. To find effect relief, you really need to see someone that can figure out what is causing the problem and then figure out appropriate treatment.
