Is there a medication called percocet 5125. If so, what is it, what does it look like what mg is it? ## No, the medication name would just be Percocet, it contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so it's a narcotic pain reliever. Sometimes numbers do follow the name to designate the dosage, but there is no Percocet on the market with 5mgs of Oxycodone and 125mgs of Acetaminophen. However, there is on that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. It is made by several different manufacturers, so the markings on them will vary, depending on who made it. Are there any markings on the pill in questions? If so, please post back with this information and I can help you further.

Is this Percocet? It has 512 on it. Please help me identify in pill. ## whats the differance between 512 percocet and acetaminophen-hydrocodone and which one is less harmfull if either ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, while the other one contains Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so it is a different narcotic. However, they both carry the same possible risks, such as being habit forming and side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. Learn more Lortab details here. Thus, it's really a matter of which one works best for you, while causing the least problematic side effects. Are there any other questions or comments?

Round white tablet with M512 on one side and nothing on the other side. Supposedly for migraines but not like anything I have ever taken before. ## It is supposed to be a prescription tablet? Is it from the U.S. or elsewhere? Is the M by itself or in a box? I cannot find this listed in any of our prescription drug resources. I do, however, know that there is a Percocet tablet, that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen that has a 512 on it and there have been some reports that some were also made with an M on them. I cannot confirm this as being true, though.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERCOCET M357 AND PERCOCET 512 ## M357 is NOT percocet, it is a different class of narcotic pain reliever called lorcet or hydrocodone. it is a generic version and not as strong as a perc 5/12 ## That is correct, M357 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is not an equivelent to Percocet, but, as stated above, a generic for Vicodin or Lortab. It is still a narcotic pain reliever, but not as strong as those containing Oxycodone. This pill marked 512 contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone and is a generic for Percocet. Side effects are similar for both and can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. A friend said if I mix one pill of l484 with a percocet 512 that it intensifies the effect of the percocet.. Is this true? Does more acetaminophen make that happen? ## Hello, Todd! How are you? No, that is not true and it is not safe to do. Taking too much Acetaminophen in any 8 hour period, or within 24 hours could result in fatal toxicity. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## No that won't help intensify anything. It'll just make your stomach hurt. Make sure you eat a little before taking your Percocet

The line on the back of a 5mg percocet, with 512 on the front. Does this line have to be going horizontal like the numbers on the front, or is it just random in the way these lines run compared to the 512 on the front? I can't find this answer anywhere! Thank you for your help! ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? It can go any way, it's random, it really just depends on how the pills fell in the pressing machine. I am feeling LIGHT HEADED and itchy on Roxicet. I have been taking 512 oxycdone for years for chronic pain and now they switched it to Roxicet and I feel horrible Is this a reaction anyone else has gotten? ## Hi Dee, Based on my research, both Percocet and Roxicet contain Oxycodone + Acetaminophen. My guess is that your body may be reacting to whatever binders/fillers and other "inactive" ingredients are in the Roxicet formula, that weren't present in the Percocet formula. The inactive ingredients can change how the medication is absorbed as well as its bioavailability. You aren't the only one who is experiencing issues with the Roxicet, others have complained that it doesn't seem to be as effective. How long have you been taking the Roxicet? Have you spoken with you...

I'm confused I just got a refill of generic percocet 5/325. Last month I was given a new type that just doesn't do enough for me. Had the RP stamped on smaller 5/325 pill. My previous prescriptions were large white pills with 512 on one side with a code on bottle of MCRK. My new prescription has the identical 512 pills but still has the newer code of MADV. SO IS THE PILL THE SAME OR NOT. Or is it made by someone else Thanks ## Hello, Tom! How are you? As long as the imprint is the same, the manufacturer is the same. They are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. The code on the bottle from your pharmacy isn't always the actual manufacturer, sometimes it's just a licensed distributor. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the ...
