This study is based on a 450 mg/day dose of Tramadol in comparison to a 15mg/day dose of Methadone. So if you ask me, my thoughts are that 50mgs of Tramadol wouldn't have results that are as significant as what was displayed in the clinical trials, since that would only amount to 200-300mgs a day (when taken every 4-6 hours) as opposed to 450mg/day. Results will probably also depend on each individuals tolerance to pain meds as well as body chemistry and several other underlying factors. I'd encourage you to talk with your doct...
