Watson 503/White
My generic lorcet {Watson 503} have always been pale green. My refill, which is the same medication {strength, shape and mfg.}, but they are white and I believe they had a different imprint. They were green before the change to white ## Hi Liz, How have the white tablets been working for you in comparison to the green ones you were originally taking? Only asking because I've heard a lot of rumors stating that, although the color appears to be the only difference, the white one's tend to be much much weaker. Do you also find this to be true? It may also be important to know that Watson was recently taken over by what is now known as Actavis Pharma. I think it's a mere speculation at this point, but the change in ownership may have resulted in a change in formula as well, to help cut costs. A series of lab tests could probably reveal the true cause behind the differences in strength and overall efficacy of these new white tablets that others are complaining about.... ...

Where did you get it? It is most likely the same as the pink one, which contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone. Watson has recently been removing the dyes from their tablets, since they were receiving many complaints from people that were sensitive to the coloring agents or allergic to them. They've been gradually changing them all to just being white tablets. You should double check with your pharmacist to be certain. Learn more Vicodin details here.
