I have a prescription that I found moving, its about 2 years old, the bottle says 10mg Oxycodone/325 mg Acetaminophen. I tried to look it up and everything just says Acetaminophen but nothing about the Oxycodone. Some insight would be great. I'm wondering if someone ripped me off and switched pills. Regardless, they went in the trash. ## Is the P 500 on one side of the pill? Or is there a P on one side and 500 on the other? I see where it shows Walmart brand acetaminophen 500mg with imprint P500. Usually the label on the pill bottle will give a description of the pill (i.e. imprints, scoring). This pill (P500) is definitely not percocet. Sounds like someone might have pulled the ol' switcheroo on it. ## If the imprint is P 500 it is Ciprofloxacin 500 mg (Cipro-Brand Name) Ciprof...

I want to know if I can give my 11-year-old daughter who is 76-78 lbs. a Hydrocodone APAP 5mg 500 mg because she broke her thumb (doctor put a splint on) and it is throbbing. Doc just told us give her Ibuprofen but that's not helping so much tonight. Thank you ## Have you tried asking her doctor? The Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so I wouldn't suggest giving it to any child, unless a doctor has specifically instructed you to do so. ## I would not suggest giving your daughter hydrocodone 5/500 the Tylenol dose for her weight is to much . My doc after looking at my MRI for my back, me having no insurance, sent me to a specialist that i can't afford. He stopped all pain pills and put me off to someone I can't pay to see. My child is 9 and weighs 55lbs. What is a normal dosage of amoxicillin in pill form? She has strep. ## @Chris, According to the MayoClinic, the dosage of amoxicillin for children weighing less than 88lbs is solely based on body weight and must be determined by their prescribing doctor. However, for adults and children weighing more than 88lbs, the normal dosage is reportedly 250 to 500 milligrams every 8 hours, or 500 to 875 mg every 12 hours - figures that are also determined by the prescribing doctor. Hope this helps! ## I was surprised when the er doctor prescribed amoxicillin 500 mg to my 9-year-old grandson for an ear infection. Usually, they would prescribe the oral suspension.
