is this the same tablet as perscibed for humans and dogs. any difference? ## The active ingredient is the same, but since you do not list the manufacturer, I cannot tell you anything about the inactive ingredients. The list of accepted safe inactive ingredients is different, what is considered safe for dogs, may not be safe for people and vice/versa. ## If you are considering giving this medicine to your dog, please take a second thought before you do so and discuss with your doctor a better alternative. Both dogs and humans are susceptible to the potentially disabling Ciprofloxacin Side Effects. In fact, many of the studies done to show the damaging effects of Cipro and it's Fluoroquinolone cousins that are in the same class, were done on dogs! Please do not subject yourself or you...

My little dog ate a benazepril (heart tablet) meant for the older dog, she weighs about 30 lbs, will she be ok (she ate 10 mg) ## In case it makes any difference, she is a whippet ## How is she doing? If you have an emergency veterinary clinic in your area that you can call, I think that would be the best idea. I apologize, but I haven't studied up on the use of medications in animals. Learn more Benazepril details here. The dosage is usually only 0.1 or 0.2mgs per pound of body weight, so it may be kind of high for her. Has she been drowsy or sick, at all? ## *Sad News* Unfortunately Sparkels passed away soon after this post

I have 4 white scored caplets with AQ on one end and L on the other. I do not know the name or purpose for this medication for my dog. ## Hi Brenda, Based on my research, this appears to be a medication for dog allergies, known as Apoquel (Oclacitinib Maleate) 16mg. It is for my dog and do not know what its called ## Did you figure it out? I'm trying to also figure it out but have had absolutely no luck ## this is Apoquel for my dogs allergies ! just found on the floor she spit out this morning ## Yes my dog takes the same thing for allergies. I wish they would prescribe antibiotics with it also. The itchies are driving her CRAZY!! ## I believe its apoquel. My dog takes it but in a much smaller dose and they have 3 times now mistakenly given me the pill you describe instead. IT'S for itching/allergies. So I think your pill is just a much larger dose of apoquel.

I have a Doberman rescue that is in severe pain due to a bone lesion from a injury from abuse, although it could possible be cancer, but the specialist thinks otherwise. We put a 100 mec/hour patch on yesterday at 2:00 pm. This is his first patch, and he is still in pain 30 hrs later. It has made no difference. He will have to be put to sleep if this is not working, as this was our last hope. He weighs 72.3 lbs and we placed the patch on the shaven neck area. We put superglue around borders because they do not stick well to animals. How long does it take for a dog to feel the effects? We want to give it a chance, but do not want him to suffer . Also can he continue prednisone while on this drug? ## Have you consulted his veterinarian? I have to apologize, because we specialize in inform...
