Now I wonder if it is as good as the yellow I have been taking ?? Or have I been switched to a less effective generic by my pharmacist bcuz he samed money on a batch of something that is not going to work as well for me ## Hello, Larry! How are you? These tablets are listed as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredients in Percocet or Roxicet. Which generic your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. I find the yellow circles with C230 are best besides the pink roxies or endocets. ## Yes the ingredients didn't make me sick, but I got zero relief w a 333, I'd give the rp a 6 /10, the Alvogen are 8/10, ... but I was in s. Fl I haven't seen the rp s sincemid 2016 ## According to the FDA, the inactive ingredients in these RP 10 325 pills by Rhodes are as follows: pregelatinized corn starch crospovidone povidone magnesium stearate colloidal silicon dioxide stearic acid Something else to keep in mind upon comparison with other ta...

I seem to be having the same issue as some in this forum. I had been on another brand until this refill & well this Rhodes brand doesn't seem as effective. One of the main reasons I'm here, I thought it odd that I wasn't getting the same relief as the other brand. I'm going to contact my pharmacy and see if they can do anything, I may call my PM doctor as well to see if they have any suggestions. ## The last two months have been hard on me since Rite aid switched from really good working oxycodone 10/325 to this RHODES pharmacy GARBAGE and it’s not only that but all my meds aren’t working like they used to. I loved my old ones (oblong) Easily cut/snap in half. With this maker of these meds my eyes burn and water, nose constantly runs and I’m in so m...

All the 10 mg Percocets work the same unless they are fake. U shouldn't be messing with pills if u don't know what you're talking about!! If u got an rx from a real dr then u got nothing to worry about. I've had every single 10mg there is and they all work the same so stop crying! ## Unfortunately, this is not true. According to the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient(s). The FDA considers this to be an acceptable therapeutic window and it was put in place to help bring generics to market faster, to create competition and try to keep prices lower. They also do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. So, while the differences are small, which mean...

What's the difference between oxycodone/apap ip204 and oxycodocone/apap rp 10 325? ## Hello, Baldman! How are you? They've just been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. The one with IP 204 on it is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and the one with the RP 10 325 is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals, but both are listed as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Hello. I was just given a refill of 5-325 Oxycodone/Acetaminophen (Percocet). These pills are much smaller than the large white pills I normally take (8 yrs). These new pills have RP on one side. So far I have taken 2 and they don't feel as strong as what I'm used to. Can anyone comment if in fact this is a good generic or should I avoid getting them in the future? ## Hi Tom, I can't say for sure whether or not their quality/potency is comparable to other manufacturers, but if they aren't as strong as what you're used to taking, one theory I had is that the manufacturer (Rhodes Pharmaceuticals) may be using a different set of binders and fillers (inert ingredients) than their counterparts from other manufacturers. According to numerous patient reviews I'm seeing ...

Are all generic percocet the same exact formula? The 4839V works fine for me but I just took 1 pill marked RP on one side and 5 325 on the other and felt really sick - numbness in feet, shallow breathing, chest pain. I've been taking percocet for breakthrough pain for years and never had this happen. ## My mother just received a new bottle of percocet 5 325 with R P on the other side. It does not seem to be working like OTHER brands she has received in the past??? I took one, which should have knocked me out due to my low tolerance. It did NOTHING! ## Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brands, in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20%, the FDA considers this to be an acceptable therapeutic window and it was...

I've not read a lot of complaints about it, so far, but that could change at any time. I changed pharmacies and now my Percocet's look different. I was getting a oval white pill with the A333 imprint and now I got a white round pill with 10 325 RP. I don't know what the differences are but I would like to know before I take them. ## It's just a different manufacturer. The ones you are getting now (RP 10/325) are better in my opinion. They are pressed hard (just like the old roxicets) and last longer. Let us know what you think! ## This tablet contains 10mgs Oxycodone, 325mgs Acetaminophen (NDC 42858-0104). Is the RP 10 325 pill comprised of layers on the RP side that start to peel off? The other side is fine and not peeling. ## Have you tried contacting the manufacturer (Rhodes Pharmaceuticals) about this? Just for verification, the imprint implies that it's a generic Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg) tablet, with a National Drug Code of 42858-104. Unfortauntely, my findings only go so far as mentioning the list of inactive ingredients: Silicon Dioxide Magnesium Stearate Povidone K30 Crospovidone Corn Starch Stearic Acid Water However you can also view a photograph of it at: rhodespharma.com/products Judging from the image therein I'd speculate that it has some sort of coating with a mild glossy or matte finish.

White round with RP 10 325 imprinted on it - Is this a percocet? ## @Ricky, I've seen a white round pill with R P 30 listed as Oxycodone 30mgs. However the "10/325" (if it is confirmed to be part of the imprint on your pill) would generally signify the presence of Acetaminophen along with 10mgs of either Hydrocodone or Oxycodone; but this remains to be verified. Now the RP imprint I know stands for "Rhodes Pharmaceuticals", so one thing you could do is contact them directly for more specific details on the tablet description/identity. Their main phone number is listed as (401) 262-9200; or you can also try reaching customer service at 888-827-0616. I hope this helps! ## I have round white pill with RP 10 on it. At age 50, had to take pain meds for the 1st time in my life ourside of hospital surgical.procedures. Been on Percocet 10/325 for almost 2 yrs now, with NO increase in quantity prescribed. In fact, I TRY to NOT take unless really needed. This month I had my Rx filled at a pharmacy newly added to my insurance plan as is closer to my home. BIG MISTAKE! They filled my Rd with these RP 10 325 tablets. I hadn't taken a pill in 15 hrs when sent hubby to pharmacy. He brought these home & altho I'd not seen this particular generic, thought nothing of it. I've had at least 3 or 4 diff generics throughout the almost 2yrs, and altho I best like the yellow larger round pills (? I dunno name brand), they ALL do basically the same thing? Not these! I filled my prescription at my pharmacy that I always use and I received a different brand marked 10/325 RP. Didn’t think anything of it or notice until I checked due to me not feeling any difference in my pain level after an hour and I usually feeling a big difference after 30 mins. My concern is that this is a less effective knock off of hydrocodone and isn’t going to keep my chronic neck and back pain under control. Has anyone experienced this with this brand? Am I able to go back to the pharmacy with my concerns and ask for a non generic. I don’t see the use in taking a pain medication that isn’t providing the same level of relief. Thanks! ## What you've received are Rhodes Pharmaceuticals Hydrocodone (NDC 42858-0203). There have been many complaints abou...
