I'm taking percocet 10/650mg. I have (DDD), (Athritis), and the list goes on. I have a friend on Norco. Can you tell me what the difference is between them and the highest mg the norco comes in? THANK YOU SO MUCH! ## The Percocet is way better then the Norco, and the reason is because Percocet contains Oxycodone and Norco contains Hydrocodone. What im trying to say is Oxycodone is a stronger and longer lasting Opiate then Norco. {Edited for safety} just make sure to watch how much Tylenol/Acetaminophen ur taking, try not to take more 4000 to 5000mgs cause it can damage ur liver. The best Percocet you can get is 10-650 and 10-325 The best Norco you can get is 10-325 or Lorcets which are 10-650 . What is the difference in percocet 10/325 and lortab 10/500, I know the amount of tylenol is different, but I've taken both and the lortab seem to work better than the percocet. Is one stronger than the other? ## Lortab contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. Percocet contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Oxycodone. So, it might just be that the Hydrocodone works better for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I usually take 5 10/325mg doses of Lortab once daily. Meaning I cannot get an answer to this after much research over the years here and there. It’s always the same questions, what’s better, what’s more powerful (which is Oxy of course) or what is the difference between the two. My question is this. Does Hydro hit DIFFERENT receptors then Oxy and vice versa? If Oxy is more powerful, then “assuming” it fills receptors that Hydro does not?? So would taking an Percocet AND a Norco at once not be perfect, to say hitting ALL the receptors? Unless they are a different dose 5/325 vs 10/325 then they are the exact same medication. Percocet contains oxycodone as the active narcotic and is stronger than the other two you mentioned.
