What would the dosage be for the methylprednisolone 4mg tablets for an 11 year old that weighs 100 pounds? ## Hello, Jody! How are you? Methylprednisolone is a potent steroid, so it shouldn't be given to a child, unless it has been prescribed by their doctor. If it has been prescribed by their doctor, you should follow their prescribing instructions for safe use. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, fluid retention, insomnia, mood swings and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

At first i took 4mg, then about 45 mins. later i took another 4mgs. Starting to feel it, but seems weaker than US Clonazepam that you'd get at a Walgreens or CVS. Does anybody else have experience with these red Repam-2 tablets? Good or bad? Feedback is greatly appreciated. ## ya I had a bad experience in terms of what they actually charged me (not including shipping) and what they told me i'd pay... also i was shown a totally different photo of clonazapam and it was under the name Rivotril i think (which is 2 mg prob)? anyways i had never heard of Repam or Repam 2 for that matter... what I've noticed simply surfing the net is Repam maybe .5 mg pf clonazapam... super lame but makes sense huh? i spent 200$ for 30 .5 mg klonopins that don't even seem to be a 1/2 mg if i...

I take hydromorphone 4mg as needed but i wanted to know if it was safe taking two tablets? ## Hydromorphone, the active ingredient in Dilaudid is a very potent narcotic analgesic. That said, it is not advisable to increase your dosage without your doctor's approval. Doing so runs the risk of overdose and other serious side effects, such as organ damage. If your current dosage does not control your pain, you should speak to your doctor to explore your other options. Have you contacted them yet? ## Due to a near fatal accident I had in 2007, I have many chronic physical problems, some accident related and others such as severe arthritis, torn ligaments in both knees, disc problems bot sides of the back. I was prescribed: medrol dose pak VICODIN 5/500 and Motrin 800 mg tablets recently for a kidney stone by an emergency Dr in SFCA. Fifteen days later I rushed to the same emergency room feeling svere pain in my stomach. Upon arrival my blood pressure checked at 85/62. I was immediately admitted to the IC unit where a stomach specialist and a staff doctor found that I was bleeding internally. Neither of these two doctors could locate the source of the bleeding. Before I was released approx. 32 hours later I reviewed my patient discharge instructions from the first kidney stone visit-to my surprise the instructions clearly state:WARNING: Do not take IBUPROFEN with prenisone since this increases the risk of getting a bleeding ulcer. I asked the staff doctor why the hospital would prescribe ...

I just started this med today for sciatica. I've taken 5 out of the 6 tablets for today so far. Experiencing fatigue, dizziness, severe muscle cramping in legs and hands, racing heartbeat and feeling totally out of it. I think the side effects are worse than the pain. Can I just stop taking this without more serious problems? Please help as I really don't want to take it anymore! ## If you've taken that many and your doctor wanted you to taper it, it would be best to continue to do so, unless they instruct otherwise. Everything you've described can be normal side effects of steroid medications, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience insomnia, nervousness and acne. How are you feeling, now? Has there been any change? ## My doctor told me to stop taking. Feeling b...

I have always got the yellow 4mg Dilaudids and they worked great. This month I got white ones (4mg) that are manufactured by Mallinckrodt. They don't work at all. I need to take two to even get any relief and it is not much. What is the difference between the two? ## @iceangel, Usually when you receive a tablet that looks different from what you're used to getting, it's often the result of differences in the list of inactive ingredients; even if the dosage remains the same. If you happen to know the imprint on both tablets I can post a list of binders/fillers used in each one for a closer look at what makes them different aside from the apparent yellow dye. From what I've been led to believe, certain types of fillers can't actually be metabolized by our bodies and be...

I was give this for a cough/cold. My symptoms are not that severe, so I was thinking of starting with 3 pills and tapering to 2 then 1. Is this dangerous? I just hate the way I feel on prednisone. ## Hello, Eileen! How are you? It would be best to take it as prescribed, starting with 6 tablets and tapering down to 1. I know now they do exist. It's on google BUT i think they are so new they don't have many pictures? Someone let me know please!? ## No, not in the U.S, anyway. The maximum dose available here are 3mg time released tablets. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. They are listed as being available in a few other countries, though, from what I can find. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have several physical back, neck, knee, foot issues that cause chronic pain. I have been on pain medications for about 20 years. Yes..I know it sounds like a long time. But I had small kids to raise and a very unsupportive husband. I am at a pain clinic. Recently I asked to be taken off of MS Contin 60mg. twice a day with 3 tablets of 4mg. dilaudid for breakthrough pain. I did take the dilaudid sparingly according to my activity level. Well..they wanted me to try long acting ELAGO in place of the morphine. I feel like the ELAGO does not last 24 hours and I feel like I need to take more 4mg. dilaudid. I also feel like I am getting a rapid heartbeat sometimes. Could you tell me what may be happening to me? I was hoping to not have to take anything other than the ELAGO ER, but it is not the...
