Greetings, I just went to my doctor today and she is switching me from Celexa 20mg to Viibryd 40mg. I notice a lot of you have stated that you titrated the medication up to 40mg. My doctor is starting me off at 40mg and now I'm worried. I understand both Celexa and Viibryd are both SSRI's and maybe that is why she is starting me off so high!? I had severe back pain, lower lumbar, doctor said it is minor slip disc and advised me to take Recool along with other couple of medicines like Lofecam and Myoril. One concern would be the possibility of your lowering your production of stomach acid too much, which could result in your food not being properly digested. That has the potential of causing dangerous stomach issues, as well as blockages and a deficiency in vital nutrients. The other issue that it may cause is an increased risk of hip fractures, just like those which may occur with very prolonged ingestion of these medications. My Dr. prescribed 4 tablets of 10 mg for 5 days and then 1 tablet for 30 days. I do have premature heart beat and after my first dosage (yesterday at noon) my heart feels fluttery. Has anybody tried Opana vs OC 80? Any feedback would be helpful. ## What dosage of the Opana? The Oxymorphone in it is actually twice as strong as the Oxycodone, so if you were taking 40mgs of it, then the equivalent dose of Oxycodone would be 80mgs. Both can be effective at controlling pain, it just requires a dosage adjustment. You should also know that there are no more Oxycontin OCs. It is opana 40 mg, its very strong its probably equivalent to 2 oxy 80's.
