I have been taking Sandoz lisinopril 40mg oval pink pill for many years imprinted with E104 and my BP has been stable. Now the pharmacy changed it to the round lisinopril 40mg pink pill imprinted with same E104. My blood pressure is not being maintained now it fluctuates all over the place. I take it daily. My doctor is switching me from 100mg 2x a day labaetlol to 40mg lisinopril 1x a day how do the doses differ or are they comparable? Is it possible the generic versions differ depending on which company produces the same pill. In Ohio, I took 40 mg. of Lisinopril and my BP was consistently 113/62. I moved to KY, now I take Lupin's 40 Mg Lisinopril and I cannot get my BP down past 140/75...what is going on? Nothing has changed except the manufacturer. My weight is the same, I eat the same. I have been tweaking my dosage of Lisinipril with my PCP. Can you please tell me what dosage is for the following pills: * Yellow round w/ M on one side and L 25 on the other. * Blue round w/ M on one side and L 27 on the other. * Green round w/ M on one side and L 26 on the other. ## M L25 contains 20mgs. My systolic BP is sometimes, 160, 150, 140. My diastolic is fine. My Dr. wants to increase the lisinopril to 60 mg (taking one of 40 and one of 20). I read that taking 80mg of lisinopril is no better than taking 40 mg, so my question is how 60 mg of lisinopril is going to help, if 80 or 40 have the same effect? ## Yes, the maximum daily dosage is 40mgs, it's not been found to have any benefit over that dosage.
