oxycodone 3 40 mg a day
I get prescribed three 40 m a day of oxycontin for chronic back pain. Is there anyone out there who gets a simular prescription and takes other pain meds? If so what other pain meds do you take? ## a lot of people i know get roxicodones for breakthru pain with oxycontin as their regular maintenance pain med. I do. ## That is correct, many chronic pain patients or those suffering from severe pain due to an injury, get an additional regular release or immediate release medication to help bring their pain under control faster, while waiting for their main medication to kick in. It is usually a lower dose and can be of the same or a different narcotic. Roxicodone is a regular release medication that also contains Oxycodone, which is also available in an instant release formulation. Morphine... ...

It was because of a lawsuit. The brand name company doesnt want to keep losing their business to the manufacturer of the generic. I have been on oxycodone for 5 years.
