It is a white round pill with no markings except for a score line in the middle on one side ## Hi lois, Here in the U.S. the lowest I've seen online are only 5 and 10mg generic doses. I can argue though that there is an article on a study done here in the states, where cancer patients were randomly assigned to receive methadone 7.5 mg orally every 12 hours for 4 weeks. So I do believe it is available, but maybe only prescribed under specific circumstances. I could be wrong, but as of yet I have not come across anything stating otherwise. I NEED TO FIND A DISTRIBUTOR ## Sorry, this is an information only site, this site does not sell, nor distribute drugs. ## I can name off 2 manufacturers of the 40 mg dose (although I believe they may be getting discontinued). Anyways, they are Mallincrodt Pharmaceuticals and Cebert Pharmaceuticals. Have you had any luck? ## 40mg methadone WAFERS not "biscuits" are used in clinics only. I doubt you will be able to find anyone other then a methadone clinic to give them to you. I think maybe a pharmacist can order them, but will he? Unless you go to a mom and pop drugs store as opposed to Wallgreens, CVS, etc. you won't get them. Sorry, but I am 90% sure of what I am saying

Looking to ascertain total volume in miligrams of the combined active and inactive ingredients of a 5mg. and a 10mg. I go to a methadone clinic and recently got takehomes. I am trying to split my dose up so i can take it 3x a day. I get 140mgs. All I have is a med dropper that has tsps and mls. I only want to take about 40 mgs a time. How do I convert that with the med dropper I have? ## What about splitting it into 3 doses using 3 of the same size bottles/containers? ## If the dropper is 1 ml, it might be the same as 10mg ## Without knowing how many milliliters they give you in your take home bottle, no one can properly answer your question. Additionally, it would really be best to take it all at once, if that is what they have directed you to do. Altering your dosage, or the way it is taken, in any way, could go against the contractual agreement you have with them that allowed you to get take homes....

Is taking 4methadone 10mgs the same as a 40mg wafer? It doesn't seem to last as long or as strong. ## If they are regular release, then they should work the same. However, medications can be funny, so that might not be true of Methadone. Have you checked with your doctor? I take 4-10mg methadone. I'm worried that they also got me on 100mg Zoloft plus a 150mg Trazadone and 2- 20mg adderal. Worred about taking all this pills. I've taken these pills for 8yrs now. The Zoloft they put me on 2 months ago. I breath fine but have had it fill like my brain is starving for oxygen to the point I fill like I'm suffocating or READY to pass out. Are you currently on Methadone? ## Depends on where you are I would say. In Calgary I get 25 mg pills from Shopper's Drug Mart so I don't have to take so many tiny 5-10 mg pills. They will order anything if they know you will get it filled there. They need some advance notice but they know it's a standing order now so now it's no problem. They don't make the pills at the pharmacy so it's where ever they order it from and many places have the 25 mg pills. Been taking 40 mg methadone daily for 6 -7 years for pain management . Some reason my meds came up short this month and I've had to lower my dose in half to make it to my refill day. I'm feeling like crap being this is 3rd day and have 3 more to go until I can refill my script just would think keeping methadone in your system you wouldn't get sick , I've even taken a few Extra norco for break threw pain and also take Ativan for anxiety I really thought I could take a few extra of my other meds to stop the yucky feeling I just take the 20 mg methadone in morning. I've been taking about 3mg subtext for three months and was going to switch to methadone. Took 20mg today. I've decided it just isn't for me. I want to go back to the subutex. How long do I need to wait to safety take the subutex. ## If you took the methadone while the subutex was still in you system, the subutex would have eliminated the methadone.
