I have fluid on my ears, sinus congestion and headache for which my DR prescribed Z-pack and this Mehylprednisolone pack on yesterday. I got the meds from pharmacy and read instructions yesterday. Woke up this morning thinking I knew how to take the medication - all six pills before breakfast. Without double checking, I took all six pills before breakfast! For some reason I just had it in my head that line one was before breakfast and line two before lunch...etc... You're supposed to take the first two tablets of Methylprednisolone before breakfast. My question is how long do I have to wait to eat breakfast after I take the medicine? ## You probably don't need to wait long to eat breakfast after taking your first dose. Maybe 15-30 minutes tops if you're concerned about absorption (as the medication has a peak concentration about 2 hours after ingesting it). I am suffering from Diabetes Type II from last 4 month. My blood sugar label is then Fasting 207 & PP is 327. I go to a MD doctor. Hi. I am a 54 yr old indian female diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I am on glycomet 3\850 before meals. My fasting, before lunch and random are 109 ff, 100 before lunch and 167 random. My concern is after walking for 40 minutes and a moderate breakfast veg, my pp is always high 157 - 200. Where am I going wrong? My friend told me to take pan 40 on an empty stomach. What exactly is this for? ## Try this natural way: Drink good amount of water 1 hr before food. What kind of food is recommended to eat when taking this drug so I wont feel nauseous before breakfast? ## Usually, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise, it should be taken with a meal to help prevent that nausea, as in while you are eating. There are no specific foods listed, just that it should be taken with a meal, which usually means during a meal. The FDA lists its other typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, acne, fluid retention, nervousness, insomnia, and weight changes. How are you doing, now? My Mom is 70 years old and she is Diabetic and Hypertensive. She is on Diapride-2, Arbitel H and Atorvastatin av 75 mg along with PAN 40 mg. Even after taking PAN 40 before breakfast every day she doesn't feel relieved of gastritis. Is there any other alternative for PAN 40 in this case?

my father age is 64 years. Just 2 months before... he came to know about diabetes. it was 280 after meal. just he started using glucored forte 500 mg. he is taking half tablet in the morning & half in night after food. can u pls... suggest how to take medicine. before food or after food...? how much can he take...? now his blood suger level is 170 after food. If without food / breakfast, what should be the reasonable interval between food/breakfast & medicine intake. ## Zoryl M1 contains Metformin and Glimepiride, both of which are oral antidiabetic medications that are used to help lower and control blood sugar. Just prescribed Linzess for pain med related constipation, to be taken every day in place of my previous regimen. Reading the other postings, I am somewhat afraid to take it. Nevertheless, I would take my levothyrox 1/2 hour before the Linzess, then would take my other meds with a meal. Will the Linzess "wash out" the other meds?? Is Amlopres AT taken before or after Breakfast? ## I have been taking amlopres AT 5 mg for the last 5 years and at times I skip my tablet in the morning 10 mins before breakfast. They have you split them up to try to help minimize the side effects, but you could actually take them all at once each day, if you so chose. I am taking myrin p forte and I am noticing that my urine color is red and my hands and feet remain hot which irritate me. And I feel hot every time. Is there any particular sequence in which FAS-3 kit tablets should be taken?
