I use to be on generic Lortab. 7.5 and my doctor switch the medicine to Norco 7.5 (V 36 05). I still don't get any relief. I looked it up and its the same med as the Lortab. Something seems shady, is he trying to trick me. ## First of all, your doctor has no control over which tablet your pharmacy has in stock and fills your prescription with. Your doctor can only designate certain things, such as you only get the brand name and/or that you only get tablets or capsules, but not from what company, so you doctor had no way of knowing you'd be getting the one with this marking, when you got your prescription filled. That is entirely up to your pharmacy and which one they have in stock. Just as an example, to ensure that I'm explaining this clearly, to make sure that I can split...

I have an orange pill that has 3605 imprinted on it, and last week I had a yellow pill with 3652 on it and that made me feel really good, my question is with one is stronger and better to take, because it seemed like the 3605 was weaker, I just want to see if this is all in my head ## Hello, Mac! How are you? The tablet with the 3605 V contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, there is no listing for anything with the numbers 3652 on it. Can you please double check the marking and post back? Thank you!

I got a script for vicodin 3605 on side has v the other side the numbers. But on half the v is upside down. So they are not exactly the same. V facing up numbers up on back and v facing down number's up. Doesnt this sound weird like maybe they are fakes??? ## The direction of the V really doesn't mean anything, it just depends on how the pills landed in the imprint press. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I had orange 36 05 pills (SB 7.5 hydrocodone / 325 acetaminophen). I noticed that they passed (in stool) almost intact. They gotta be fakes, right? ## Not necessarily, many pills contain fillers and have shells that are not intended to be broken down by the human body. They are normally expelled as waste, even though the medication itself is actually released and used. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation, they also carry the risk of being habit forming. The main question is, did they work for you to relieve pain?

National Drug Code (NDC): 00603-3891 Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain. Just trying to figure out what the actual mg are for these pills. I see 2 different ones. Usually on a bottle it would give just 1 number on what Mg's it is... Are these 750mg or 375mgs? I'm getting different answers. I know it says 325mg/7.5mg,but your doc would say im prescribing you 750mg of so n so or 375mgs of so n so, not 325mg & 7.5mg of so n so cause it would confuse a person on exactly what Mg's they are taking! So what exactly is the mg of this orange/pink/peach oval V 3605 pill? ## Hello, Malysa! How are you? The reason for the discrepancy is that these pills actually contain 2 active ingredients. Qualitest Pharmaceuticals lists them as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that this medication ...

I used to get hydrocordone in white oval shaped pills. Now they come in peach color with a V on one side and 3605 on the other. Why the switch and why the peach color? ## Hello, Kokii! How are you? You've just received a tablet from a different manufacturer. This is a generic medication, so it is normal to sometimes receive a different one from your pharmacy, because when they restock their supply they will order from whichever company was offering the cheapest price. Pink pill with darker pink specks, v, 3605. Why are some hydrocodone different colors but still have the v? ## Hello, Jopo! How are you? Because the V is just a manufacturers logo and actually has nothing to do with the contents of the tablets. The V logo is used by Vintage Pharmaceuticals on all of their products, including the ones that do not contain narcotics. The color also doesn't not mean anything, it is just something that the manufactured decided to do to their tablets. The one in question contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. found pill with v on one side and 3605 on the other what is it ## Hi Walt, From what I understand, the cursive "V" actually represents Vintage Pharmaceuticals who now holds the name Qualitest. However the pill you have there marked "V 36 05" is identified as a generic Norco tablet containing 325mg of Acetaminophen + 7.5mg of Hydrocodone; used for treating moderate to severe pain. And for verification, this particular pill also carries a National Drug Code of 00603-3891. I hope this helps! ## thanks for the info ## The pill is round and pink with a cursive V and markings of 49/93 on the other side what is it? ## Pink V 49 93 is oxycodone hcl 10 mg an I believe fairly new to the market! ## Also, the V 49 94 gray pill which is 20mg oxycodone I think is new to the market, is...

I have a new pill my dr called in it is oval orange V on one side and 3605 on other side shows it's Hydrocodone 7.5/325 I was previous on Hydrocodone 7.5/500 not sure why dr changed it! Is the 7.5/325 a stronger pill as I have severe back issues so wondering if that's y the change! Thanks! ## The 325/500 is the amount of acetaminophen in the capsule. Most Dr.s will try to keep you on the lower end to avoid liver damage. Your pain relief should be the same. ## Hello, Carolyn! How are you? The ones with the higher amounts of Acetaminophen are no longer available. Since it does potentiate the action of the Hydrocodone, if you find it doesn't work as well for your pain, please contact your doctor, as they may need to change your dosage of it.
