Can I take a 10/325 Norco it's been 4 hrs since I took a fiorinal still have horrible migraine ## Hello, Sue! How are you? The Hydrocodone and Butalbital can both increase sedation, which may be risky, so you shouldn't take it that soon afterwards, unless your doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have they both been prescribed for you?

Is there such thing as hydrocodone-acetaminophen 40/325mg ## Hello, Briggs! How are you? No, the maximum dosage that is standardly available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The only way someone could have a higher dosage would be if their doctor specially ordered it and it was done by a compounding pharmacy. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm getting the headaches too. Started taking them after I broke my leg. Mine are white oval with red speckles. Big V on one side, 3604 on the other. ## The drug is a generic form of Norco 5/325. It contains 5mg hydrocodone and 325mg of Tylenol. It is also classified as a schedule 3 controlled substance with abuse potential. ## Hi Curt, Sorry to hear about your recent challenges with this medication. According to the MayoClinic, headaches are actually listed as a general side effect of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone. However, if you find that the symptoms are becoming too bothersome or severe, it may just be best to talk with your doctor about trying some other alternatives for pain relief. To my understanding, side effects like this usually don't go away until you stop taking what...

I have got prescribed some medication and it is a pill that has p325 on it and it is purple and I just wanted to know if it has anything like oxycodone or hydrocone in it ## When was this prescribed? This is a medication called Balacet, which contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene. The Propoxyphene is a mild narcotic pain reliever, but the reason I am asking about when it was prescribed is because it was pull from the market by the FDA back in November and no pharmacy should still be providing you with these tablets. Propoxyphene was found to be cardiotoxic and its use has resulted in permanent injury to some people and, in some rare cases, death. Learn more:

These tablets are listed as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredients in Percocet or Roxicet. Which generic your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. I just went through surgery. Prior to surgery I was given a generic of Percocet - IP203 , after I received plain pill, no letters but 512 on one side, what is the difference, if any please as I am concerned. Thank You ## Both "IP 203" and "512" contain the same two active ingredients Acetaminophen 325mg + Oxycodone hydrochloride 5mg. The primary noticable differences between these two pills are the different manufacturers they are made by, as well as each pill containing different inactive ingredients or fillers. Inactive ingredients or fillers can effect how efficiently the drug is absorbed into your system and therefore determine how effective it might be over another similar pill with different inactive ingredients. Is yellow round pill 230 c the same as Norco ## Hi Amy, The round yellow pill you're describing marked with a C on one side and 230 on the other, contains 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mg of Acetaminophen. This is NOT the same as Norco. Norco contains Hydrocodone instead of Oxycodone. For added verification on the pill's ID, it's reportedly manufactured by a company called Alvogen; and carries a National Drug Code of 47781-0230. I hope this helps answer your question!

Does this med a diuretic? ## Hi Bob, You didn't specify whether or not you were referring to Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen or Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. However, neither of these meds are classified as diuretics. Both are actually narcotic analgesic combinations, used to treat chronic pain. Were you experiencing an increased frequency of urination after taking these pills? I wonder if it could possibly be a side effect. You can learn more about diuretics on the page for Diuretic Details I hope this helps!
