I have a little white pill that has an M on one side and 321 on the other. Is it a xanax? ## No, but it is a related medication. This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 0.5mgs of Lorazepam, which is a generic for Ativan. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. What is the difference from a Lorazepam with a rx 7 on it from one with a M 321 on it? ## From what I can tell the only difference between these two pills is that they are manufactured by different companies. Additionally the inactive ingredients can slightly differ from one another. Other than that, these are both the same drug and same dosage. What is it? ## white oblong pill with ML4 on it nothing on other side ## Hi Jessica, I located a white capsule-shaped (oblong) pill imprinted with ML4 to be a 50mg Tramadol hydrochloride tablet, made by Macleods Pharmaceuticals. Apparently this drug company is based in India; though if you wanted to contact them regarding this inquiry, they do have a toll-free US number that can be reached at 1-888-943-3210, as well as a couple different emails via: [email protected] & [email protected] For a more in-depth analysis I would also encourage you to have it evaluated by a lab and/or drug panel. Line thru the opposite side ## @tj, What shape is your pill? And are there any other markings on it outside of "dyn"? As of yet, the closest matches I'm seeing are by a drug company called "Medicis Pharmaceuticals" (also known as Valeant Pharmaceuticals) who produces a couple different white oblong tablets with "DYN" embedded on one side along with a set of numbers on either half (they are divided by a short score line). It's not a 100% identical to your description, but given these similar details it may just be a good idea to contact the manufacturer directly in order to find out if they make or used to make something that fits your description more closely. The customer service number to reach them at is: (800) 321-4576. Does anyone else recognize thes...

My doctor had upped my meds from 1mg of Ativan to suppose to be 5mg it is round yellow pill I think there might of been a mistake. Thank you ## Yes, I do believe some mistake has occured. Ativan, which contains the active ingredient Lorazepam is not available in a 5mg dosage. The tablets are only available in 0.5mgs, 1mg and 2mgs. There is a round, off-white tablet in the 0.5mg dosage, that has an M on one side and the numbers 321 on the other. A 2mg tablet that is slightly off-white with an R over 774 on one side. Another off-white 2mg has the marking of MP over 96. Do any of these match the markings on the tablet you have? If not, please post back with the markings and I can look it up for you, so see what it contains.

why has my new pharmacist filled my new prescription with orange tablets when they have always been white, are these colors and numbers on tablets correct? M525 and93 321? ## Hi, Manny! Sorry for the confusion, I wish more pharmacists took the time to explain any changes. Diltiazem is actually a generic medication, so it's manufactured by several different companies and the marking on each must be different, so that it can be identified in case of an emergency. The color and shape are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Thus, these are both the same medication, in the same dosage, they've just been manufactured by different companies. The one with the 93 321 on it has been made by Teva Pharmaceuticals and the one with the M 525 has been made by Mylan Pharmaceuti...

hi, I was perscribed a pill at the vets office for my dog they say 2684 v and i was told its valium and they look exactly like.the ones the doctor perscribed for me are they?.........tim ## Hi Tim, Just to confirm what your vet said, a round blue pill marked with a "V" on one side and "2684" on the other side (sitting above a score line), reportedly contains 10mgs of Diazepam - otherwise known as Valium. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Qualitest; and this pill also carries a National Drug Code of 00603-3215. Did the vet give you proper dosing instructions for your dog? I don't know how animals react to these kinds of meds in comparison to humans, so I find it odd that they would prescribe your dog the same exact pills designed for human consumption. #...
