I was on 5 30mg of oxycodone ir after doing some reading after you have more than 120mg in your system the rest is not helping you it's just loading your system up and your asking for long term problems my dr. Has since put me on 3 30mg oxycodone and one 30mg morphine extended release for nighttime and that seems to be the magic for me, it helps the hard pain during the day and at night lets your system calm down when I'm sleeping. ## even though oxycodone is 1.5 x stronger than morphine, if you take an equivalent dose of mophine sulfate (90 m. vs. 60 oxy), will you still develop the same tolerance/addiction/dependency from the morphine as from the oxycodone? ## Great Gw! Does anyone know if 2 15mg morphine tabs would be equal to 1 30mg oxycodone. Both are immediate release. Both are narcotics, so you should make sure that you aren't taking more than your doctor has prescribed, because they can cause depression of the central nervous system, as well as respiratory depression. I can't stop sleeping and being really dizzy I take lyrica 75mg twice a day and Percocet 5mg 4 times a day and morphine 15mg 3 times a day and 30mg twice a day. Am I overdosing? ## Glenn, Lyrica is awful! I was on the same meds. I refused to touch Lyrica. I hate the stuff. Do yourself a favor and try to get off all of this stuff, as I have done. It ruined my life for the past seven years. The Lyrica didn't take me long to realize how bad that stuff is. I only took it for several months on a couple of occassions. I was taking 30mg oxycodone and the doctor switched to 15 mg Morphine ER and 15mg oxycodone and the pain is the worst it's been in the last 8 months. Am i going crazy or is it possible that the morphine does nothing for me. I am currently taking 60mg of morphine sulfate ER twice a day and 30 mg of oxycodone HCL four times a day. For some reason I came up short one morphine on the last day of my prescription, so I only have one I can take instead of two until I get my new script tomorrow morning. Instead of taking the last morphine this morning, I waited and took it around 4pm tonight. But maybe you will have a good reaction to it. Zydus brand, I was taking endo brand with only side effect of occasional constipation! otherwise the medication was working well for my after neck surgery care chronic pain etc,, then 5 days ago got the brand zydus! I currently take 20mg methadone twice a day with MSIR 30mg tabs 4 daily=120 total. I am trying to find which dose of oxycodone would be the equivalant of my current dose of Morphine IR.
