I am recovering from an intense spinal surgery and was given an rx for 60 mg oxycontin. I filled it last month at my regular CVS, but they said it was removed from the books, they even called other CVS who checked and said it was removed from their books as well, guessing that CVS doesn't carry it anymore. After checking with 10 different pharmacies, no one has it. One said they haven't had to order that in a long time. I didn't think it was that unusual. But where in the world can I get this filled? which is more potent hydrocodone-acetaminophen (5-325) or Acetaminophen/cod 3 (300/30mg)? ## Milligram for milligram, hydrocodone is reported to be significantly more potent than codeine. So even with the difference in milligrams I'm going to have to assume that the generic norco you have may be more potent from what I've read online. While everyone's experience may be different, I have also seen comments from patients who've tried both and feel that "10mgs" of hydrocodone far exceeds the potency of "60mgs" of codeine. Though that may not be as accurate for someone else with a different tolerance, it does go to show that hydrocodone is superior and probably shouldn't ever be substituted for codeine in that sense. I’m a 72 year old who has been on 60mg Cymbalta plus 300-2400 mg gabapentin as needed for 4 years for neuropathic pain. The combination has been effective in lowering the baseline of my pain. During this time, however, I have gained a great deal of weight. Recently I’ve had aching and sometimes sharp pain near my liver. This is very concerning for me. Which drugs will really help? I have been using Cymbalta 60mg and Welbutrin 300mg for about 7 yrs and have hit a low and have had 100mg Serez added? I need meds for restless legs and fibromyalgia!!! I take 60mg of Cymbalta 1x a day and Lortab 7.50/300mg every 4hrs... I also take Baclofen 10mg for a neck injury when it gets bad but not every day. Nothing helps with the restless legs. I am taking two 300 tynol/b every 4 hours. It this too much ## Manufacturer guidelines note the following... The usual adult dosage is: Acetaminophen (300mg-1000mg) 4x daily for a maximum dose of 4000mg within a 24 hour period. Codeine Phosphate (15mg-60mg) 4x daily for a maximum of 360mg within a 24 hour period. Doses may be repeated up to every 4 hours. The prescriber must determine the number of tablets per dose, and the maximum number of tablets per 24 hours based upon the above dosage guidance. This information should be conveyed in the prescription. NOTE: Keep in mind that high doses of either of these are considered to be toxic. Acetaminophen: toxic dose 10 g Codeine: toxic dose 240 mg I hope this information helps!

ive tried it once, it feels like E. but for some reason my walls were changing colors! ## The tablet marked TEC 4 contains 60mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a Canadian tablet. Some narcotics do have unusual effects on people, especially in that high of a dosage, when you haven't taken them, before. Hi...old pain dr retired had me on 30 mg oxycodone ir 3 x day ...morphine xr 60mg 3x day and butrans 10 mg e7d new pain doc stopped morphine. medium white tablet with a M that has a square around it and a 4 on the back ## Pill Image This is NOT Dilaudid, that would be Hydromorphone. This pill is a generic version of Tylenol with Codeine, it contains Acetaminophen 300mgs and Codeine 60mgs. It is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. ## But an easy mistake to make. Mallinckrodt does make a generic 4 mg hydromorphone tablet. It is round, white, 5/16 diameter. Imprinted with block M on one side, 4 on the other. However, the hydromorphone does NOT have a box around the M like the codeine does.

I've been addicted to oxy off and on for 5 years. This last year has been the worst- dealing with WDs and lying. I'm at the point where it has killed me financially and I can't stand the cycle I'm in. I've cut way back (from 300mgs to 60mg a day). I've tried to fully quit but when I get the urge/craving/depression/boredom, I have no one to talk to- so I start back up. I can see the life I had before...it's so close and have to get back to it. I just need help... From anyone....please. The major issue is that no one knows. I have a live in BF of 1 year and he has no idea. I cannot lie about the "errands" I have to run anymore or why I'm "working late". But I know that if I just have someone to talk to,while making this change- it will help ...
