How can I get prescription assistance with generic 30 mg adderall? ## There are no assistance programs for generic medications, since by their very nature they are already much cheaper than their name brand counterparts. Additionally, since there is a generic available, there isn't even an assistance program available for the name brand Adderall. The best suggestion I can really make is to price shop the pharmacies in your area to see who has it available for the cheapest price. Another alternative would be to look into some of the free pharmacy discount cards and programs, using one of them if you have a local pharmacy that participates may save you a little money. For convenience I had my script for 30 mg Adderall filled @ target instead CVS. When I opened the bottle I immediately noticed it was physically different but was not concerned because Drug stores switch generics for several reasons such as cost and availability. After taking my first dose I noticed after 2-3 hrs. that I was not getting any noticeable or same response that I was accustomed to for my ADHD (combined) and depression! So I took a closer look at the pill and noticed it looked smaller and it had a #28 on it. My usual pharmacy was out of the orange pills, forcing me to resort to the pink ones, a decision I regret and will never repeat. They're less expensive, which might explain why they opt for them. I've been on a routine of 30 mg twice a day for years and have never required an increase. Though there is another pharmacy within a 25-mile radius, I never felt the need to go there until now, realizing the pink generics are ineffective for my condition! I badly need help with getting my 30 mg extended relief adderall. My insurance will not pay for it. It is a capsule, I take one every morning. My insurance only pays for the brand Adderall pills and does not support the generic. The doctor started me off with 20mg of XR daily. After a couple weeks, those didn't seem to work as well so she upped my dose to 30mg XR. I was looking at the 20mg and comparing what they looked liked to the 30mg. The 20mg had on them M.Salts or something like that the name Adderall wasn't listed anywhere. Both pills are oblong and orange; the 30mg says AdderallXR 30mg right on the pill.
