I got a script from the drugstore for 2mg dilaudid and when I open the bottle there were white ones in there but I saw some cotton in the bottle pulled it out and the rest of the pills were orange whats up with this? I was prescribed Dilaudid 2mg for the repair of an incisional hernia. Pain maiintenance has been a problem in as much as I cannont in the least tollerate even 2mgs of dilaudid. In the hospital was one matter. At home I was scared, felt on and off as if I were dying and very week to the point that I could barely make it to the kitchen to eat even oatmeal It would take me 10 to clean up a small kitchen spill because I was so weak. I switched to 600 mg IB and was chastised by the Advice Nurse for even considering IB and to switch immediately to Tylenol. Hi. I am 38 years old,I had 4 surgical procedures done 9 days ago.Tonsillectomy,Adeniodectomy,septal reconstruction and sinus surgery. I have an RX for dilaudid and for the last few months by the end of the month, some of my tablets look like they have been dropped in water and taken out to dry. how much is a lethal overdose? ## There is no pat answer to this, it varies depending on whether or not the person taking it already has a tolerance to opiates. My pain Mgmt. doc. stopped giving me dilaudid 2mg, 5 times a day and fioricet 2 times a day as my urine always came back negative. I was taken off of Dilaudid 2Mg every 3 hrs to oxycontin 5 Mg every 6 hrs. I was in pain and I never experienced withdrawals, but I did this time. I called the Dr. right away.
