33 Topics FoundI found this capsule in my daughters room and would like to know what it is. It's about a 1/2 inch long. The top 1/2 is pink, the bottom 1/2 is white. Where it bands in the middle it is red. The pink top has the letter G, and the white 1/2 has the numbers 283 on it. Thank You for your help. ## This is a generic or store brand for Benadryl containing Diphenhydramine 25 mg (NDC: 54499-0283). This medication is available over the counter, and is most commonly used to help treat, or prevent allergic reactions, as well as insomnia.
