Prenatal multivitamins help provide the necessary vitamin and minerals plus additional elements to support a healthy pregnancy. That said, I'm not sure as to why it would invoke vomiting. I would suggest asking your local pharmacist if it is in fact a prescription. Most vitamins are not prescription-based to my knowledge, but maybe these pills in particular have something you could be allergic to.
