I have been on Percocet 10/650 for around 8 yrs. now for my back. They cannot do surgery because the bone and discs in my spine are not strong enough to hold any type of device. They have now changed it to Oxycodone 15 mg but doesn't seem to help. Is Oxycodone 15 stronger than the Percocet 10/650? I am NOT looking for drugs and the high that some give. My profession is very important to me and I would NEVER risk loosing it due to drugs, however, I am on my feet for at least 12 hrs. a day on concrete. I am just curious if the Oxy 15 is stronger and better to take or is there something better. ## The problem may be caused by the lack of Acetaminophen, it generally enhances the effects of the Oxycodone and helps it work better. Have you consulted your doctor? If they still permit you t... ...

Thx. ## If you can provide the imprint from the tablet, I will gladly look it up for you to check what it is, however, I cannot tell you anything from just the shape and color of the pill. ## thx for response, ? is can you confirm there even is a 15mg percocet? and if possible, if so, is it in a table form? i have a small white pill found in boyfriends pocket it has 15 with a line half way and an M in a box on other side what is this ## First off, I would like to state that there are no Percocet tablets that contain 15mgs of Oxycodone, the maximum available in them is 10mgs. That said, this tablet actually contains 15mgs of Oxycodone, it DOES NOT have the Acetaminophen in it that Percocet does. This one is a time released generic for Oxycontin. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Is there anything else I can help you with? ...

How would a doctor write out a prescription for 15mg percs? Would it just say 15mg Percocet? I currently take 7.5mg/325 percocets but I'm going to a new doctor since mine moved away and I wanted to change the mgs to 15 without the acetaminophen. I can modify this on my medication list that I printed out from my old doctors website patient portal. Just want to make sure I write it correctly. ## Percocet doesn't come in a 15 mg. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen. Oxycodone does come in 15 mg without the acetaminophen You may want to think twice about changing anything in your medical records or pharmacy info. Your new Dr can easily look up all the pain meds your old Dr prescribed you in your states Prescription Monitoring Program Database and most, if not al... ...

It has a letter V on the front looks like the vicodin's letter V. Then on the back it has a line in the center dividing the numbers 48 on one side then 11 on the other side of the line. so it is 48 line 11. does anybody know what it is. Does Percocet come in 15mg ? And has anyone tryed it in liquid form? Does it affect you stronger? Thanks sassy..... ## Percocet does Not come in 15 mg. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetaminphen. There is a Oxycodone Oral Solution. There is 5 mg in every 5 ml. A dr isn't going to prescribe Oxycodone Oral Solution to replace Percocet unless he believes it is in the best interest of the patient. small, round, green, r-214 pill ## I believe the marking on this tablet was actually A 214 and it contains 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. Learn more Oxycodone details here. If not how many 5 325 equal 15mg percocet?? Curious as dr said I could take that much but didn't specify. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? First, there is no 15mg Percocet, so I'm assuming your mean a 15mg Oxycodone tablet. The 5/325 stands for 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, it would take 3 of them to reach 15mgs of the Oxycodone, but factoring in the Acetaminophen, you may do well with just one or two. It's also very important not to take more than your doctor has prescribed, because it is very dangerous to exceed 3,000mgs of Acetaminophen in a day. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there a... ...

I have been taking oxycodone HCL 15mg for 2 months. Is there a good reason to change to percocet 15mg? What's the difference? ## Hello, Susan! How are you? There is no 15mg Percocet available on the U.S. market. Percocet contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen, since it can augment the action of the narcotic in some people that take it. However, the maximum dosage available contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Oxycontin vs Percocet

which is stronger--10 mg of Percocet or 15 mg of oxycontin? Which is more addictive? ## Hello, CS! How are you? They both contain the same narcotic, which is Oxycodone. Thus, technically the 15mg Oxycontin is stronger, but it is time released and doesn't work all at once, like the Percocet. Percocet also contains Acetaminophen with the Oxycodone, which helps it work better for some people. And thus, that means that neither is more of less addictive. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Morphine Sulfate ER 15mg once a day with three Percocet 10mg
2 Replies RSS
My doctor put me on the morphine to try to wean me down from taking 4 percocets to 3. I took my first morphine at midnight - and I still feel pretty good 10 hours later. My question is, how is the morphine released into my blood stream? i.e. do I feel relief immediately - or 45 mins later and then every 1/2 hour or so more is released? Maybe this benefit of 10 to 12 hours relief will dissipate over the next few days to lasting only 5-6 hours? I meant to preface this by saying I'm taking the percocets for a laminectomy fail. ## Since it is a time released medication, it is generally released by absorbing some of your stomach acid, or other fluids you drink. Think of it like a sponge that is very gradually absorbing fluids from one spot, and as it is expanding it's forcing the med... ...

I've been taking 15mg of Percocet with Tylenol in them for a year. My dr just gave me a 20mg dose without the Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Why is that? ## The ONLY difference in the two pills is the Tylenol, and 1 of the pills (oxy 20) has 5 mgs more than the Percocet 15? I put the ? Because I NEVER heard of a Percocet 15; only 10, 20 and Percocet 30. Never the less, oxycodone is the narcotic in both pills, and oxycodone is oxycodone. IT'S THE SAME THING BABY! ## The Acetaminophen does enhance the action of the narcotic in some people that take it, so you might be one of those people who get better pain relief if it accompanies the opiate. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nau... ...
