This pill I BELIEVE reads V1187 it is round and white. It is also divided by a line thru the center. Blank on other side. Does anyone know what this may be? 1187 keeps pulling up oxy. ## Hello, Chels! How are you? Is the tablet possibly a very pale green, with the marking 48 11 V? Looking at it upside down, the numbers do look like 1187. It is manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have oxycontin 15 mg for cancer pain. Finding it difficult to determine how much is released into the bloodstream at intervals. Does it 'peak' at a certain time? Or, once it breaks down inside the body, is it an even release throughout the 12 hours? I'm imagining it is like taking 5 mg of oxycodone every 4 hours. Correct? Thanks! ## Hello, Matronum! How are you? The way it is made, the pill media slowly dissolves over a period of 12 hours, due to your stomach acid, so the medication is just very gradually release, rather than releasing boluses every so many hours. Think of an ice cube slowly melting in a warm room, it's really just drop, by drop, until it fully melts. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects,...

It does contain 15mgs of Oxycodone, but it is not an immediate release formulation. This is a regular release tablet that's a generic for Roxicodone. I am a senior citizen and have had major back surgery, I live in melvindale, Michigan and cannot find oxymorphone 15mg anywhere, can someone give me a suggestion as to where to go to get them. ## Hello, Ronald! How are you? How have you been checking for them? If you're just calling pharmacies, you won't get an accurate answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the line is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. Thus, you actually have to physically go into the pharmacies, with the prescription in hand to check. Another idea would be to go to the hospital where you had your surgery and see if their pharmacy can fill it for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects...

The 20 mg tablets also contain polysorbate 80 and red iron oxide. But I don't think that has any impact on the absorption rate. I hope this info helps! What does a roxycodone 15 mg immediate release look like.. I was prescribed this today. I had hip surgery and was sent home with a little green pill with a m in a box on one side and a 15 on the other. Is this the same thing? My bottle says oxycodone 15 mg.. But it doesn't specify immediate release. ## There is no immediate release Oxycodone in that dosage, thus, the 15mg tablets that you've received are regular release tablets. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Many doctors do write them as being immediate release, because they are not time released like Oxycontin. Is there anything else I can help with?

Thank you! ## Sounds like you got the lovely A 215. A 30 mg little round blue pill. It's probably oxycodone. It isn't the wrong pill. Many pharmaceutical companies make these. The others would be the M box. This is a light blue with a cut that says 30 on the top with a M in a square on the back. I believe it is by Malinckrodt pharmaceutical. Then then is the large blue 224 and also the dark blue v-cut with a vertical line on it with its numbers. All in all you got what i think is the best and most potent of all the oxycodone pills.
