I currently have 50mcg tablets and I am trying to take 200mg. How many would I have to take? ## Hello, Anthony! How are you? Are you sure it's safe for you to take that much? That would be a very high dosage of B12 and too much of it can be very dangerous. Have you been shown to be low in via lab work? How much have you been instructed to take? ## Hi Anthony, I am a big proponent of Vitamin B12 at high doses, but even I don't recommend taking 200 mg per day. It's perfectly safe to take up to 5 or 10 mg per day, but to do so, you'd be better off buying capsules that contain 5 mg per tablet, because if you are trying to get those doses taking 50 mcg tablets, you'd be taking almost a whole bottle at a time!
