This is a pretty standard dose, but considering your size, you may want to just try half a tablet at once, especially if you aren't used to taking narcotics. The Hydrocodone in this is pretty potent. I generally run between 117 and 120, but have found that since I rarely take them, even the 5/500mg dosage of this hits me very hard and I can only handle half of a tablet at once. does hydrocodone apap come in 12.5/500 mg ## No, before the DEA made changes the maximum dosage available only contained 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, since the changes, the maximum available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. I will like to know what is a strong pain killer that I could talk yo my dentist, I got 12 teeth pulled out @ once and I been hurtting so bad, can't eat or sleep. I have a damaged SI joint in my back from a car accident 12 years ago and also have fibromyalgia. I've recently noticed something and I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I've taken hydrocodone mainly for pain, usually 7.5 mg, but sometimes 10 mg. They make the pain tolerable but never seem to last long. I recently tried Watson 749, which I'd never heard of before, but they are percocet 5 mg. Both these and the hydrocodones I've taken had 325 mg acetaminophen in them. These 749 are awesome! They work faster, better and last longer! I think my 50 lb bassett puppy swallowed one of my pain pills (hydrocodone). Will this harm her? ## Have you contacted your veterinarian? I am afraid that my medication knowledge doesn't extend to its use or safety in animals. There are many drugs that cross over, but due to an animal's metabolism, the dosages must be carefully adjusted. Since she is just a small puppy and this contains a narcotic, I'd suggest checking with a veterinarian. How is she? ## Most people I know take 10 to 12 / 8 mg. Dillaudids a day intravenously!! I was given opana er 10 mg take one every 8-12 hours with hydrocodone 10/325 take one three times a day for breakthrough pain. Is it safe to mix these and how far apart should I take them? What is the shelf life of these pills? 12, 18, 24 Months? I do understand like all other products, they do lose their potency. ## Once they have been removed from the originally factory sealed bottle and exposed to the elements, then the expiration date is one year. If they are still in the original factory sealed bottle, then the expiration date is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Im being perscribed these And they r being mailed to me in a few days the strenghth is 10/200. I have been taking 5 hydrocodone 10 / 325 mg for about 8 years, my body has adjusted to this so it has not been working as well as it used to. My doctor has now prescribed me morphine ER 15 mg every 12 hours and hydrocodone 10 / 325 4 times a day. Will this be a better pain relief and do you know of any problems with taking both of these together at this dosage? Me and my boyfriend decided we were going to do a binge on pills. He took 20 clonazapam 1 mg and 7 hydrocodone 5/500 in a period of 12 hours...this was on October 11th 2012 he slept great and was functioning properly. He left my house at 8 and went and drank at our friends house. Our friend said he couldn't carry on a two minute conversation without falling asleep. I pulled my back out two weeks ago. My doctor gave me a shot of decadron (steroid) and Valium. I only took 2.5 mg of Valium twice (I don't like taking things I'm unsure of) and it didn't get better all. If I took the last 2.5 mg 12 hours ago is it safe to take 5 mg of hydrocodone? My daughter has been taking hydrocodone 5/325 every 4 hrs since Thurs afternoon. 24 hrs ago, her dr moved it to every 6 hrs, and she took her last one at 615pm last night (it's now 1250a). Can you switch to extra strength, OTC acetaminophen now (500mg tabs)? Or should we wait longer after her last hydrocodone dose? Please advise.
