What excuse can you use to ask the doctor for the pink oxycodone instead of the other ones? ## Hi black, If you can inform the doctor of a legitimate reason as to "why" you would prefer one version over another, then that seems to me like it would be your be your best bet for convincing him/her to change their decision. Usually there are certain inactive ingredients (that may or may not be present in each tablet) that can have an effect on how well your body metabolizes the pill as a whole. And in some cases your body simply responds better to one over the other. Not only that but the addition of Acetaminophen can also lead to liver toxicity with prolonged use. Perhaps this would make for a good debate if he/she questioned you on your reasoning behind wanting to switch tablets. ...

Please help me. I suffer pain all the time from my Fibromyalgia to my disc and back problems. The doctor had me on Percocet10/350 mg and switched me to Oxycodone HCL10 mg. little pink pills that don't work and Morphine Sulf ER 15 mg littleblue pills. I'm getting NO relief. What should I take? I'm at my wits end with pain. Almost no generic pills don't work. What can I do? Please help me!! Thank you ## If your doctor approves it, you may be able to take Acetaminophen/Tylenol with it to help get back some of the prior pain relief that you had, since it potentiates the action of the narcotics. Have you contacted them about the problem, yet? How long have you been taking the new medications? ## i am on lyrica 100mg and ocycodone 10/325 for my fibromyalgia been on it for awhi...

I have a friend that takes 24 pink percocets a day 720 pills a month an her doctor prescribed them to be taken like that can that harm her. ## If this is what her doctor recommended for her, then I'd imagine she must be in some serious debilitating pain without it. However, what really concerns me about this doctor's approach is that each percocet tablet contains a minimum 325mgs of Acetaminophen. At the dosage she's taking in, that's an alarming 7,800mgs of Acetaminophen within 24hrs. Enough to cause some serious liver damage. Her doctor may have ignored the warning label, but it's been clearly stated by the FDA as well as drug manufacturers NOT to exceed 4,000mgs of Acetaminophen within a 24hr period and NOT to exceed 1000mgs in a single dose. These numbers a far b...

May be moving to Florida. Will I have a hard time finding a doctor to keep me on the same pain meds, oxocodone 10mg? I have been on this now for 2 years & my heart and G.I. doctors know I take this prescribed by my primary doctor. I don't want to have to be put through the wringer for I didn't ask for this pain med. My primary changed it to this from norco due to the acetaminophen in my others meds. He stated that with my other meds plus the norco i was getting too much acetaminophen so he started me on the oxycodone. I know it's a strong narcotic but with my huge list of allergies this was what they came up with. I have no problem going to a pain clinic or signing the pain contract, I just don't know where I start looking for the correct doctors I will need. I know ...

Wondering if roxicodone 10mg pink pill marking of pill is np on one side & 12 on other side have acetaminophen in it? ## Hi, Danny! picture of pill ## DR prescribed my oxycodone 10mg but they are a pink small pill with no # or letters as said in your forum i don't understand. TY April ## They are straight oxycodone, I think. No acetaminophen. ## If you have a tablet that does not have any markings on it, then it is not a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription tablet of any type. They are all required to have markings to enable their identification. Without any markings, it is difficult to determine what they might contain. You can learn more Oxycodone details here. I wish April would return and tell us where she got them as that may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else know of any tablets that match that description? ## Got some small pink oval pills today with no letters, numbers, or any other kind of ...

Does norco 5/325 have the same ingredients as the little pink pill k56 which is oxycodone 10mg? My doctor switched me due to the strength. The k56 pills are stronger he said and i needed a weaker pill to be able to work. So he prescribed me the norco. What i'm saying here is that are they the same, but different doses? ## No, they are not the same. The Norco contains the narcotic Hydrocodone coupled with Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. what is stronger, oxycodone 10mg or hydrocodone/acetaminophen10-325 mg? ## From what I could gather, oxycodone is said to be approximately 1.5 times more potent than hydrocodone. So I'd put my bet on the oxycodone being stronger than the vicodin. Although I'd also imagine that its effects on each patient will be largely influenced by individual tolerance, pain threshold, severity of the condition, and other personal factors. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxycodone Details I hope this helps!

Ok I'm talking 10mg of oxycodone, they are very tiny and pink. My question is I hear people say they take 5/500....or some numbers like that and their round and white. What is the difference? My Dr told me to take two in the morning and 2 in the evening. That's not helping me and it's scaring me Cuz I don't want to raise the dose! ## Percocet contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen, because it can augment the narcotic, so it works better for some people. That's why they list 2 numbers in the dosage, for example the 5 would be the amount of Oxycodone and the 500 would be the amount of Acetaminophen, though it does need to be acknowledged that doses containing more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen are no longer available. If your current dosage isn't working for ...

i found a pink round pill with k56 on it is it the same as percocet? ## No, they are not the same. Percocet contains both Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. And this tablet with the K 56 marking just contains 10mgs of Oxycodone by itself, in a regular release formulation. what is this..tiny pink round pill with a K 526 ....blank on the back ## Are you certain of the imprint? There is a small pink tablet with a K 56 on the front, separated by a score line, which contains 10mgs of Oxycodone, so it lacks the Acetaminophen that's in Perococet.
