I am a vet from the war that has no end in sight, I am not special just a soldier like many of you out there. I was shot in the right shoulder and it came out my chest. I was very lucky. Anyway I have been on 40 mg x two a day of oxycontin for 3 years well it was working fine and controlling my pain. Now I am taking the same meds but on the pill it says op not oc. It is almost like I am not on any pain meds at all. I don't think my dr. Has a clue about the change in the formula. He wants to give me more op. but I must have become immune to the meds and I want to know if any one has had any success with a drug called daliade I know that is not the proper spilling but I was hoping some one out there has experience with this type of pain relief med. Thanks mike. ## Purdue Pharma did ch...

What other pharmaceuticals make oxycodone 10mg IR besides kvk tech and the ones that have "NP and 12" on the sides. I get headaches as a side effect from these and I'm assuming it's bc of the fillers. I didn't have problems when I used to get 5mg bc there seemed to be more options. I'm thinking I'm going to have to decrease the mg to get a different brand. I don't feel they help at all. Tia ## There are many pharmaceutical companies that make this, far too many to list. The FDA does list headaches as being a possible side effect of Oxycodone, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, constipation, and dry mouth. Which ones are you currently receiving? ## where can i find the fake piller pills for the pink tens for pull counts

So a friend of mine was trying to tell me that they make a 60,80 and 100mg IR oxycodone. Not ER oxycontin but IR, I told him he was crazy the highest mg they make for IR is the 30mg Roxicodone. He said they do make them in pill form but choose not to tell us about them because of the already crack down on opioids. I was just wondering if anyone out there has either seen heard of or ever had one of these pills. My guess is they dont make them. ## You are correct, the immediate release formulation of Oxycodone is only available in dosages up to 30mgs. The instant release is only available in 5mg capsules, and anything over 30mgs is only available in the time released formulation. There was a time other doses were available, but they were removed from the market due to regularly increasing ...

My Pain Mgt Dr. has been reducing my Percocet 10/325 mg pills down from 6/day to 3/day and my Kadian 20 mg pills down from 4/day to 3/day! I have been on this drug regimen for 7 yrs. due to a poor outcome from my last lumbar fusion surgery. I have heard that the DEA is requiring that all doctors must wean their patients down off of ALL opiate pain meds. Can you inform me of possibly any new developments in pain meds that would be accepted by the DEA??? Thanks so much. ## Hello, Doug! How are you? No, they don't have to take people off of all pain medications, however, they have been directed to limit how much is prescribed per day to any patient that does not have a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer. It's been requested that no one else be given more than the equiva...

for pain is used for bi-polar ## 1st, anyone who is getting 30 mg oxycodones....salud, took me YEARS to go from my 10-Vicodins to my little round percocets, no tylenol, but everyone keeps saying BLUE, I swear mine are more green, light green. Anyone Getting these? Found them once at Bills Pharm (Rt. 60, Brandon...actually, a couple times!) and twice at Advanced Medical Pharm (Kennedy). ## Oxycodone is an opiate narcotic that is used to treat pain, it is not used to treat BiPolar disorder. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What are the markings on the tablets in question? Not all of them are blue, and not all are green, it depends on the manufacturer and how they choo...

Yellow pill with #230 on one side and a simble on the other, what is it? ## Hello, David! How are you? A round, yellow tablet with the Alvogen logo on one side and 230 on the opposite contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on Tylox, dilaudid, and Extended Release Hydricodone and Exteneed Release Opana for many years due to an MVA, resulting in severe injuries that were not properly repaired. I have what is considered "failed surgery syndrone. Since Pamela Bondie went after "Pill Mills", people like me, who have never created a crime, never injured or stolen anything from anyone, have difficulty getting their prescribed prescriptions. I was once told by the new pharmacist where I have received my prescriptions for 8 years tell she fill this "first" prescription" but never again. Since my husband and I had been getting all prescriptions and food from that Publis for almost 10 years, I went straight to the Manager. It was resoled and still get all food and RX there. It was...

I am on both of these meds do to severe medical issues. I take 40 Mg of opana 4 x daily and 30 Mg of oxycodone 5 x daily as well as Nortriptyline 150 Mg twice daily and neurontin 600 Mg 3 x daily. Needless to say a few different stomach medication due to chronic nausea. Oh and also phenergan pills and injectable. My question is has anyone found anything other than multiple medications to relieve severe chronic pain. ## I also have severe medical problems and nothing works. For two years was on 3Mg iv dilaudid every three hours and 120 percocet 10/325 every month. Zofran for nausea. Overdosed a couple months ago (imagine that) and been dropped four 5/325 percocet a day and now in constant pain... Not sure how to adjust. ## Have either of you ever tried the Fentanyl patch? It's a very...

Would like to know who distributes a 40mg yellow oxycodone with half moon and 330? What company? ## Hi Rebecca - The "half moon" sounds a lot like either the old Actavis logo or the Alvogen logo. Unfortunately I can't find a version with 330 on it from their product listings. Actavis does distribute a 40mg yellow oxycodone but with "OP 40" on it. But Alvogen's markings are a bit closer - They have an Oxycodone 10mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg pill (generic Percocet) which is round and yellow with the inscription 230 along with the Alvogen logo on them (NDC 47781-230). Does this possibly sound like what you might have? If you see a Google Image search for the Alvogen logo it could help to you verify that half moon. Please let me know if this helps at all. I might be ab...

I just gave my husband 600mg ibuprofen 2 hrs ago. Can I give him the 10 mg oxycodone now or do I have to wait 2 more hours? ## Yes, ibuprofen is a different class of drug and can be taken at the same time, though for better pain control they are often staggered. So if he's prescribed oxycodone every 6 hours, you could give a dose, then 3 hrs later give ibuprofen, 3 hrs later give the oxycodone again...and so on. Just make sure he's not exceeding the max dose per day of oxycodone. ## @Stark, I just wanted to add a second opinion, in that Oxycodone + Ibuprofen is also available as a combination med that goes by the name of "Combunox". Although I've only ever seen this particular med available in a dose containing 5mgs of Oxycodone + 400mgs of Ibuprofen, and haven't...

Which is stronger? Norco 10mg or oxycodone 15mg? ## Oxycodone is the strongest of the two, you'd need 22.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to equal each 15mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Hello, all. Just wanted to try and help anyone out there with the similar situation. Generic norco used to work, but over the last 5 yrs., total junk. Tried every brand, felt anxious, no pain relief. God bless my doc, he switched me to oxycodone. Everyone is different, but noticed that this med is different in a lot of ways....most importantly...it is like creeper. It takes longer to start working as opposed to generic norco...

I am prescribed 5 mug of oxycodone. On the bottle is shows round white 48/10 but the pill inside is round white, bigger and just has the # 223. It doesn't seem to work on my pain is this a different type of Oxy? ## Both should be 5 mg oxycodone. Both generic and both manufacture by a different company. ## @Corinne, I do think it's strange that a pharmacy would give you two different manufacturer's products in the same bottle as another. However, despite being the same medication, they are still composed of different binders and fillers which directly affect bioavailability and overall drug efficacy. So one may still work better or worse just because of "alleged" inactive ingredients, which in my opinion aren't necessarily inactive at all if they affect absorption...

How are the 10mg oxycodone made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals compared to other brands? ## Hi Shizz, According to NIH, the 10mg oxycodone tablets (that are white, round, & scored, with "R" over "P") made by Rhodes, contain the equivalent of 9 mg of free base oxycodone. Ref: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=a5162476-1217-41c0-bc7e-0a0f123f069f So in terms of potency, it apparently doesn't contain what a 10mg Rx label says it does, which is really corrupt marketing in my opinion… Especially towards those who are switching from another brand that may have more or less (unknowingly setting the stage for withdrawal symptoms from tapering). I suppose they think the extra milligram will come in the form of placebo. Next, in terms of inactive ingredient...

Information on generic oxycodone 5mg tablets ## I FOUND 75 ROUND PILLS; WITH 749 ON ONE SIDE AN A LINE ON THE OTHER SIDE. Are these generic oxycodone 5mg? ## I want to know if there is a good brand of oxycodone 10 mg available in india and what name it goes by? Thanks.. ## To the original poster, what specifically would you like to know about them? They are an opiate narcotic, the FDA warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. B A D, I can't find any tablet with that marking. Can you please double check and post back? bpaul, I am not sure on that. I have never lived in, nor visited India. 5 mg of Opana is approximately equal to 85 mg of oxycodone... ## Hello, LBrown! How are you? I'm sorry, but that is not correct. Opana is actually only twice as strong as Oxycodone, so 5mgs of Opana would be equal to 10mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth and drowsiness. Is there anything I can help with?

I am searching for information on how dilaudid compares with oxycodone ## white pill with m on front, no. 5771 ## For the first poster, Oxycodone is the strongest narcotic pain killer on the market that you can get in pill form. While Dilaudid is really a stronger medication, it is considered so dangerous that it is only available by prescription in a max of 10mgs, so for those who suffer chronic pain, the only option available in pill form to provide sufficient pain relief is Oxycodone. ## Gary, M 5771 is Methadone 10mgs, generic for Dolophine. The side effects for this are similar to those of other narcotics. ## Diladuid is not that strong once you get used to it. Whoever told you you can only get a script for 10 mg's at a time in not informed. I get180 4 mg. pills a month with 90...

if i ad 1000 mgs of tylenol to my 15mg oxycodone will i get longer pain relief??more hours? ## If your doctor approves, it is only necessary to add a regular dose of Tylenol/Acetaminophen of 325mgs. It can help augment the action of Opiates for some people. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You also need to remember tylenol can be toxic to the liver and you should be closely monitoring tylenol daily intake. Most sites say 3000mg a day is,safe but that's not for long term use, short term pain relief only. My pain dr says it's more like 2000 for chronic patients on these med's for years and still could ...

Most unaffiliated pharmacies will always be cheaper in price for people without insurance. Walmart/Target/Walgreens/Costco/CVS etc are big chains and will not help ppl without insurance. Stay away from those phony Medical cards claiming to save on RX's prices, they do no good for you. They basically tell the pharmacy to charge you more than cost, and split the difference with the pharmacy, hence you pay more then necessary. On average, you can get 180 QNTY 30MG Oxy from independent pharmacies for around 100$. Do not pay those big chains 250-900$, they are ripping you off if you do go there to fill your prescription. ## Actually, the opposite of what you've said is true, in many cases. The large chains often buy in bulk, which lowers their price and thus, lowers the price for uni...

I was in a horrible accident. My Dr. Put me on Dillaudid 4 mg. After a half month I cut myself down to Dilaudid 2 mg. When that was gone, my Dr. Put me on Oxycodone 10, to keep down withdrawals. I've been on these for approx. 2 weeks. Is it safe to now cut my dose down, and how should I go about it? I DON'T WANT OR NEED THE WITHDRAWAL. ## It is not a time released medication, so as long as your doctor approves, you should be able to cut the pills to gradually reduce your dosage. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? ## If you have only been taking opiates (as prescribed) for about a month, and onl...
