It comes in several mgs and 10 mg is one of the,. But, it is expended release and you only take 1 every 12 hrs. It is new and very expensive. Some insurance companies won't cover it due to the cost. ## The information BL provided is correct, Zohydro is a time released formulation of Hydrocodone by itself, with no other active ingredients. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is this legal to cut the medication down this much at one time? I have been on 6 10/500 mg hydrocodone/Lortab for well over a year now for fibromyalgia, scoliosis, arthritis, bulging disc, bone spurs, etc. The clinic dr. decided that he prefers the patients there (all/any that take more than 4) be cut down by 2 a day, now making it 4 daily. Shouldn't he lower the dose slowly just as he slowly raised the dose? There has been no substitute given. I already take ibuprofen too. Now I'm feeling more pain and I HAVE TO WORK. Is this legal? Morale? Is there anything I can do about this? Please help. Take two tablets by mouth every 6 hours as needed for itching ## What i need to know is what is this medicine for. We ask for something to increase the appitite is this meds for that? ## This is actually an antihistamine, used to treat allergic reactions. It is also commonly used to treat anxiety and similar conditions. I do not see anything listed in the drug info that says it can increase appetite.

I have taken Hydroco/Apap for about six years for chronic pain. Sometimes the caplets are white, sometimes yellow. When they are yellow I itch badly after taking them. I will like to know what is a strong pain killer that I could talk yo my dentist, I got 12 teeth pulled out @ once and I been hurtting so bad, can't eat or sleep. I have taken the dosage as prescribed by Dr. and started with no side effects.The last 3 days though I have experienced frequent vomiting and can not even keep water down until the med has worn out.Is there any relation to vicitin which is what I thought the Dr. was supposed to prescribe to th pharmacy. ## Well, the Hydrocodone in this is a narcotic, so it can cause the nausea and vomiting, as a side effect, especially if you aren't used to taking it. The FDA warns that taking too much of this medication could cause other effects, such as headache, constipation, severe drowsiness, and dry mouth. Why did you take 2? It is never a good idea to take more than the prescribed dosage.

This is a pretty standard dose, but considering your size, you may want to just try half a tablet at once, especially if you aren't used to taking narcotics. The Hydrocodone in this is pretty potent. I generally run between 117 and 120, but have found that since I rarely take them, even the 5/500mg dosage of this hits me very hard and I can only handle half of a tablet at once. These are time released, so you can cut or break them, safely. Unless you already have a tolerance to narcotics, then I'd really think it best to start small and see how it affects you. Was told that a new hydrocodone that is 75mg. Does anyone have any in put on this? ## The highest dosage of Hydrocodone available in manufactured form is 10mgs coupled with Acetaminophen. There is a 7.5mg dosage, but no 75mg dose. Are there any other questions or comments?

15 mg hydrocone in red capsule with a crown marking csei ## Is that the entire marking? There is no 15mg Hydrocodone that's regularly available on the U.S. market. It is only available in the manufactured products in a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone coupled with various strengths of Acetaminophen. Learn more Vicodin details here.
