10 Mg Adderall

Hi, I have a question to ask hoping someone here can answer it for me. I currently am prescribed Adderall 10 mg twice daily and it makes me feel terrible physically and also causing vision problems. I plan to report these side effects to my prescribing physician as soon as I can and I'm going to ask to switch my meds to Vyvanse. I would like to see if it is better for me as opposed to Adderall. If my doctor does switch me to Vyvanse, will I be allowed to fill the Vyvanse even though I recently had my Adderall filled or is it required a person has to wait a month for a 30 day supply? I no longer have Insurance and my adderall is the most expensive medication i am on. I am on a fixed income and have to let other things go to buy my adderall. ## Have you discussed the issue with your doctor, or pharmacist to see if there is a cheaper alternative? I recently got the pink round 30 mg tablets and I find they make me tense up a lot more... sore muscles, shaky, hard to get motivated because I'm so distracted from the negative side effects... The only way I like this brand is if I take a Benzo with them to counteract. ## Hi, I think because there is a shortage right now, they are giving out corr brand vs teva(the orange ovals). I HAVE ONLY BEEN TAKEN ADDERALL TAB 10 MG 1 TAB 1 X DAY FOR A MONTH. CAN NOT REACH MY DOCTOR, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE STEP DOWN PROCEDURE TO STOP TAKING THE ADDERALL. ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. I don't know however if Adderall would fall into this category of medications that can be taken in fractioned doses. I have been on adderall 8 years. I'm 29 2 kids. My dosage is at 60 mg. 30mg ir 2 x daily I actually took 1.5 months off it and learned just how unmanageable my adhd / add is with out it. I tried starters and Wellbutrin during that time both which had neg side effects and just got back on adderall 10/30. Corpharma 30 pink tabs are what I got. I have been EXHAUSTED lethargic headaches sad .... Weird crap. I tried taking more just to see if it was weak (up to 200mg) - all it did was made all those symptoms ALOT worse. Is it the brand ? Son Takes 10 instant release mg in a.m. then crashes and very unhappy at two pm. Give him another five and works well till bedtime or sometimes up all night. Also script say amphetamine salts instead of Adderall M.D. ordered. ## Have you talked to his doctor about the problem? He may need a dosage adjustment, or a switch to the regular or time release formulation of the medication. And Amphetamine salts are the active ingredients in Adderall, so that is just the generic for it. It may cause some other side effects, such as nausea, irritability, anorexia and insomnia.

I started adderall. Doctor told me to start with 10mg in morning and 5mg 4 hours later. I did this for a few days and felt absolutely nothing. I was the told to up my morning to 20mg. And 10mg 4 hours later. Again ... nothing .... If anything I feel more foggy and super sleepy. I was given this medication for all the reasons it's used for. What could be wrong ?? Not enough mg? I obtained these and when I opened the capsule, it was powdery like ....similar to sawdust with slight orange and white coloration, not the beads like I expected. I've been taking 20 Mg TID of IR generic Adderall > 10 Yrs. Although some "experts" claim they are very, very habit forming, I MUST disagree. Even after +10 Yrs, I have little problem discontinuing the drug at any point. The same goes for benzodiazepines. Possibly it's because I personally adhere or ingest < is directed or skip for weeks on end. This "abuse potential" may be inherent in some. Personally, I believe it is overstating this possibility to "play it safe". The statement, "Drug abusers typically have the tendency to increase the dosage on their own initiative". I take generic Adderall 20 mg for narcolepsy and there is not one local pharmacy that has it in stock. I have never had this problem before. The pharmacies are saying that it's on backorder from the manufacturer. Is anyone else having problems getting their scripts filled? ## I live in Southern NH. I can't find a pharmacy anywhere around here that can get Adderall in any dose from Teva and Barr Pharmaceuticals. My psychiatrist was apparently completely unaware of this situation when he wrote the prescription earlier today, 10/18/2011. Hello I need help in deciding what would be the best course of action for me to take. A year ago I started getting prescribed Adderall 20 mg that I was suppose to take once a day. It was really working for me for a couple of months but after three months after an eight hour day I started to feel myself getting tired. I told my doctor this and he changed it to 15 mg twice a day. This seemed to be working, but I usually do not take two in one day. Most of the time I take one by 10 am and I don't want my body to build up a tolerance or a dependency on them so I usually only take the second one if I am having a long day. Can you take Morphine Sulfate ER 15mg with Adderall? I'm scared as hell!... My Dr. pushed the Morphine on me over taking just Hydrocodone 10/325... & this concerns me :/ ## My doc insisted on switching me from 5-325 Norco to Morphine Sulfate as well, and it was the WORST thing that's happened to me, EVER.
