Follow up of 02/28 post. Original pill marked A 333. Wife back to dentist this AM. Swelling along side of tooth/gum after root canal. Took new prescription for Percocet 10-325 back to same CVS. They have nothing in stock other than the A 333 pill that we had already found to be impotent and reported it to Head Pharmacist. Went to another Pharmacy and they filled with white oval shaped pill identified as M523 on one side and 10/325 on the other. Potency and effectiveness confirmed by wife within 20 minutes after first pill. She managed to catch up on several hours lost sleep. Pill marked A 333 not potent 10/325 Percocet alternative. Yellow, oblong V on one side, 4829 on the other. I have no idea if this is even a real pill. I've google'd it came up with Oxycodone and Acetaminophen 10/325, but cannot find a picture or any other kind of info.. I have 2 of them. The only difference is when you flip them, on one of them, the V will be right side up but the other side 4829 will be upside down. On the second pill, the V will be right side up, flip it, the 4829 will be right side up. If that makes any sense. I know that is one way to tell a fake from real but with these I have no idea because I don't even know if the pill is even a real pill period!! I've checked the manufacture website and there is absolutely nothing about a 4829, but there is a V 4839, but the pill is white and round. ## I'm sorry, I... ...

They are just manufactured by different pharmaceutical companies. The imprints are different, because under federal law in the U.S. they have to able to identify the ingredients and the manufacturer, in case of emergency. It's a very addictive opiate: I would advise taking it from him immediately and getting him something a little less harmful, like a bong. ## Pardon, I meant A333. I recently re-filled my pain management prescripton for "Percocet 10/325MG and they look totaly different from my usual "Name Brand Percoset's" Why do they look different and what should they look like? ## The name brand Percocet in that dosage is an oblong, yellow tablet with the word Percocet on one side and 10-325 on the other. white oblong pill A333 not as effective as other generics
19 Replies RSS
I have been taking oxycodone 10/325 for a serious pain problem for some time now. I am used to getting a round white tablet with Watson imprinted on one side and the numbers 925. Those worked fine for my pain. They were supplied by CVS as a generic for Percocet. I also received another generic that was a yellow oblong tablet and these also worked well. I refilled my prescription last month however and got these white oval tablets with an imprint of A333 on them and not only am I not getting adequate pain coverage but there are many times I felt very strange after taking my medication. The only way I can describe it is weird, tingly, the way I feel if I have been able to sleep and miss taking my afternoon dose. Like I didn't take the medication at all. Can anyone identify this pill? It's not a capsule, it's an oval white tablet, marked 44-511 ## Hi nikki, Would there happen to be a score line down the center as well? Most pills I'm finding that start with "44" and are followed by three digits are often recognized as OTC cough and cold related medications; though, I'm not finding any specific details on one that ends in "511". 44 533 and 44 547 have also come up with similar physical descriptions. And the only one I'm seeing with 44 511 is "round" in shape and not oblong as you mentioned it to be. So if you'd be so kind, could you also double check the imprint just to be sure?
