blue square, 2.5 ## There is no 2.5mg Adderall available in the U.S. The minimum dosage is 5mgs (NDC 0555-0762 for details.) What are the markings on the tablet in question? Can you please post back with them? If so, I will be happy to research this tablet for you. The FDA warns that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability, nervousness, weight loss, and anorexia.

Why did the manufacturers change the formulary of Dimetapp Elixer about 15-17 years ago? ## I looked around online and couldn't find any specific details stating what the old formula contained. Do you happen to have any information on the what the ingredients used to be prior to the change? According to the manufacturer (Pfizer) the current formula contains: Brompheniramine Maleate 2mg + Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg But maybe if you contacted them directly they'd have more background info on previous formulas. Their customer service hotline can be reached at: 800-762-4672 or 800-762-4675, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm EST. I hope this helps!

round white pill one side 1G other side 200 ## I have just recieved the same pill as a substitute for Monopril 10mg pills. I have searched everywhere and this is the only reference I found. The 200 on the pill has me a little worried has anyone else been prescribed this pill as a 10mg Fosinopril substitute ## I have been taking Fosinopril for many years, and just received a scrip of the white round I G 200 pills. I have not been able to find any other information on why this is a substitute for Fosinopril 10 mg. and it also has me worried since it doesn't look the same as the white rectangular Fosinopril. ## Yes, these tablets contain 10mgs of Fosinopril, it isn't a substitute for it, so to speak, it is just another generic that is available. small white pill with mylan 762 ## There is nothing listed in the databases or on Mylan's own ID site under 762, are you certain of the imprint? Does it actually say Mylan or is it just an M? Are you sure the number is 762, I know they are sometimes hard to see, so could you double check please? ## mylan 762 small white pill blank on reverse ## Sorry, I am still not finding any listings for this in the US prescription drug databases, and I checked 5 different ones. I am guessing it is either a foreign drug, or something they made that is over the counter.

white oval pill with nt 151 on it ## Hi Jean, From what I could gather, the pill you have marked NT 151 is in fact Gabapentin, which is used for neuralgia, seizures, restless leg syndrome and more. This particular pill reportedly contains 800mgs of Gabapentin to be exact. For added verification, it is manufactured by a company called Allied Pharma, and carries a National Drug Code of 76267-150. I hope this helps!

I am trying to find out what is a white round tablet with an M on one side and the numbers 762 on the other side.? What is the name of this medication and what is it used for? ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? Are you sure the numbers are 762? I can't find anything listed in the NIH database with that marking. The closest I've found, so far, has the marking M 732, which is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, they list it as containing 4mgs of Ondasetron, which is most commonly used to prevent nausea and vomiting. The FDA lists its typical side effects as include dizziness and drowsiness.

Just wondering what a round blue pill with 412 on is used to treat? Found it on my floor and thought maybe I was being poisoned. ## Hi Denise, In your thread title it says 412 16 as the pill imprint, but the closest imprint I've seen for a round blue pill is 412 IG; whereas the "G" could closely resemble a "6". The IG is on one side and 412 is on the back. This pill is identified as Finasteride 5 mg, used for treating an enlarged prostate. Manufactured by: Ascent Pharmaceuticals Labelled by: Exelan Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code: 76282-0412 Inactive Ingredients: Lactose Monohydrate Cellulose, Microcrystalline Starch, Corn Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato Docusate Sodium Magnesium Stearate Fd&c Blue No. 2 Hypromellose 2910 (6 Mpa.s) Talc Titanium Dioxide...

White scored pill with a 1 on the left side and a 2 on the right side, and nothing on the back of the pill. ## Exelan Pharmaceuticals, a licensed distributor for InvaGen Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 600mgs of Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat some mood disorders, and certain types of nerve pain. What is it and why is it prescribed? Is this pill an opioid? I found it in my kid's bedroom and I would like to know what type of medication it is. ## Hi Frank, A white oval pill marked with I 71 on one side and blank on the other is reportedly identified as Bupropion hydrochloride extended release (300 mg). This medication is marketed as an antidepressant with a number of other off-label uses as well. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 76282-0481. I hope this helps! ## It is a pain reliever. Tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg ## This identification is wrong, FYI. The first answer was correct. This pill is not Tramadol, it is Buproprion 300mg.

According to this search on the National Insitute of Health's pill identifier [NIH Search Link] there is a amlodipine pill that has the imprint 238 and IG on the back, which could easily be mistaken for a 16.
