The FDA lists this as being used to help lower cholesterol. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, bladder pain, dark urine, sore throat and stomach pain. I have a UTI and my doctor prescribed both mylan 3422 and E122, but I'm not sure how it's supposed to work because I have one of the E122 and nine of the mylan 3422 pills. ## They both contain the same active ingredient, which is 100mgs of Nitrofurantoin. I've recently experienced burning feet and hands. I've been on Zarelto for over a year. Is this a complication from the drug? ## Hi ajmediator, According to The US National Library of Medicine, "burning" sensations are listed as one of the more common general side effects of Xarelto.
