Aspavor - ALTERNATIVE
I cannot write or paint normally because the muscles in my right hand dont function normally. The specialist diagnosed this condition as dystonia. I realise that this condition is most likely caused by my prolonged use of statins, firstly Zocor, then Lipitor and now Aspavor. I also have hemifacial spasm . I recently started a routine of massaging my face and discovered how very sore the muscles in my cheeks are. I have no doubt that the Aspavor has also contributed to this condition. I am also on Ezetrol . I take 20mg Aspavor and 10 mg Ezetrol and Ecotrin daily. I had carotid surgeries about 5 years ago and have a stent inserted in one of the arteries after it began closing up with cholesterol again. I am fed up with the muscle spasms and I want to take an alternative. I will appreciate...

oval pill blue 617
I do not remember what this pill was for. I usually take generic brands of Zocor (20mg) and Zanex for anxiety. Can you help me to identify this pill. ## An oval, blue pill with G17 on it, actually contains 220mgs of Naproxen, it is a generic or store brand of Aleve. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Learn more: Are there any questions or comments? ## My first prescription of Simvastatin (40mg) did not state a warning on the prescription label as did my replenishment prescription (from a different pharmamcist) regarding not to consume grapefruit/juice whilst taking this medication. Unfortunately I had just started consuming one grapefruit/day for about a week...

Can I eat grapefruit while on Zocor?
My father in law is on a cholesterol lowering medication and is no longer allowed to eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice. I have just begun Zocor and am concerned. ## I just read that you can't drink more than a quart of juice or large amount of grapefruit. That being said, I'd ask your pharmacist. ## my father eats grapefruit, but his doctor told him not to eat it very often ## I eat 1/2 a grapefruit in the AM and take my Zocor at night. Is there a problem with doing this?

MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED ZOCAR-40 MG, AND ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS IT MUST BE TAKEN AT NIGHT BEFORE BED-TIME. DOES ANY-ONE KNOW WHY IT MUST BE TAKEN BEFORE BED-TIME. ALSO WHAT ARE THE KNOWN SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE??? THANKS, WENDELL ## This is a cholesterol med. It is to be taken at night to help bring your cholesterol down, this is when you are relaxed the most. side effects liver, leg cramps, make you tired. ## Cholesterol is made at night. That is why your physician wants you to take it at night. Be careful with this medication. I had chronic pain from diabetic neuropathy and began taking it.
