I need to know what the price is in different quantity amounts for Rimadyl 25mg for my dog in different local pharmacies in my area code of 99223. Can you provide that information to me, and how much of a discount is provided by Savings Cards? ## How can I look up drug prices and savings by using RX Meds Chat? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm sorry, but I do not have access to such information for you. It can vary widely from area to area. Have you tried checking with your local pharmacies? Rimadyl is listed as containing Carprofen, which the FDA classifies as an NSAID that's used to treat pain and swelling. Typical side effects for canines may include nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Does anyone have any idea of what this might cost?

What does a RIMADYL tablet look like? After surgery, my dog was given a pill. I just found the bottle but cannot read the label. The white round pill has FD on one side, and either 532 or 552 on the other (pill is split). ## Hello, Maddies Mom! How are you? I'm sorry, but I have no listing for Rimadyl tablets. It is a medication developed specifically for canines, so it isn't listed in the prescription databases, since they only include medications for human use. Have you tried asking the prescribing vet? They should have records of what was prescribed. ## Hi Verwon~ Thank you, I did not realize that the data base did not include pet meds. Have a wonderful weekend.

Dog Rimadyl

My chiweenie was taking 1/2 Deramaxx 25mg once daily until the backorder began. I have 100mg tablets Rimadyl, would it be safe to quarter these and give her a quarter once daily? Thanks! ## Hi Migisi, If you feel that the vet prescribed a heavy dosage, then yes, I'd suggest cutting the pill into fractions when necessary, if not but to see how your dog responds to it. Even if there's not score/break lines on the pill I'd give it a try. The only time I don't recommend doing that is if the drug itself is an extended release version, because I'm not sure how that may affect it's chemistry. I hope this helps! ## Thanks David!
